I got a message from someone from my past the other day, and I realized something: our memory of the past is usually pretty unreliable. I am often surprised when I return to something and see that it is different from how I remember it. Can you relate? I do this most when I am in a place of confusion or uncertainty. As I grow and mature, I am looking forward to understanding that the best is not in the past-- it is yet to come.
