Stuart Kruse founded Kruse Asset Management, a boutique quantitative investment firm, on the idea that investment advisors need to Be Better.  We should be able to level the playing field vs. the Institutions of Wall Street.  We should be able to add value.  Advisors should be able to pay for ourselves.

Main Business Issues:

  • Letting go of the need to control in order scale

Stuart’s Key Insights And Takeaways:

  • As a successful entrepreneur managing millions of dollars for his clients Stauart found himself constantly in a pattern of “leveling out” his success
  • As we dug deeper he realized that he held a lot of beliefs around needing to be the one that “does it all” in order to grow his business
  • As he began to let go of that notion we explored the idea of Who Not How by Dan Sullivan and using that to guide how to grow his team of superstars that wouldn’t require his direct management
  • This allowed his to consider how to also spend more time in his Zone of Genius
