Main Business Issues:
- Building a team is aligned with the mission and vision she had for her big goals
Dr. Joan’s Key Insights And Takeaways:
- She was approaching team building as a strategy that needed fulfilling but historically wasn’t having the success she desired
- Her teams would often start out “good” but something would happen to reveal they were in it for themselves rather than the team mission
- This pattern in addition to a childhood wounding around a car crash had her apprehensive of conflict and drama
- As a defense Dr. Joan realized that she had a narrative around needing perfectly healed humans as part of her team so as to maintain ‘peace’ and no drama
- She was able to realize that the belief was causing friction from going forward and attracting the team she desired
