After dealing with some persistent audio issues, Carter begins with a brief story about the cancelling of Kiwifarms by Cloudflare (#, which was precipitated by an online mob rustled-up by trans activist and Twitter pugilist Clara "Keffals" Sorrenti, and included support from a surprising source: Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene. He notes that public companies are unlikely to be able to withstand cancel mobs such as the #DropKiwifarms movement, regardless of a CEO's desire to resist. Next, he turns to a question from the community about the effect of digital media and information saturation on our brains. After explaining the popular "hooked" model for creating psychologically addictive software, Carter outlines ways in which the Internet has rewired our brains and how we are active participants in the process.
