Carter and Keri and joined by special guests Dr. Michael Rectenwald and David Reaboi. They discuss the CDC's most recent eviction moratorium, and how the government's response to COVID-19 has been to facilitate a large transfer of wealth from the middle class to large corporations. Michael explains how socialism and corporate monopolies are related, and David explains how neocons have failed to defend conservative ideas on principle. After chatting about the difference between rights and privileges, the guests share their "white pill" moments from the last year. The conversation turns to art, books, and music, and Michael shares how he was suspended from Facebook for simply summarizing the plot of his recent novel, Thought Criminal. They end the show by contemplating conspiracy theories and the role they can play in promulgation of the Cathedral's narrative.Follow Dr. Rectenwald on Twitter at @TheAntiPCProf, or visit his website:michaelrectenwald.comFollow David Reaboi on Twitter at @davereaboi, or visit his website:davereaboi.comThe video version of this episode is available here:https://unsafespace.com/ep0617Thanks for Watching! The best way to follow Unsafe Space, no matter which platforms ban us, is to visit:https://unsafespace.comWhile we're still allowed on YouTube, please don't forget to verify that you're subscribed, and to like and share this episode.
