EFFECTIVE SUMMARIES AND CONCLUSION

（効果的な要約と結論）

プレゼンの中での重要ポイントは、焦点がハッキリとしている事と簡潔である事でした。

なぜだか覚えていますか？

人間は情報を非常に早く忘れます。平均の人間の集中力はとても短く、多くの事を考えるのはとても忙しくて、なかなか集中力がもたないものです。

結果として私たちは物事をとてもすぐに忘れがちです、特に話して伝えられたものに関しては。
プレゼンは口頭による情報が多いので、これはプレゼンを行う人にとっては大きな問題です。

聞き手にあなたの話したキーポイントを思い出して貰う一つの方法は、キーポイントを再度話す（REPEAT)事です。一般的なプレゼンのルールは次のように言えます。

“First you tell them what you are going to tell them, then you tell them, and finally you tell them what you told them!”
今まで説明してきたものに置き換えますと次のように書けます。

OVERVIEW: First you tell them what you are going to tell them.

BODY: Then you tell them.
SUMMARY (CONCLUSION): Finally you tell them what you told them.

SummaryやConclusionを言い始める際のサインとして使えるフレーズは、

Now, I’d like to summarize the main points of my presentation.
In summary…..

第1回で紹介した電子辞書の例で言うと・・・

First, I went over the contents number of our new product we will be introucing this year.
We are ready for providing a brandnew electric dictionary that contains 50,000 words that you have never heard before.

Next, we discussed economic efficiency of the product.

It will be possible for you to reduce 60% of electricity consumption within a year.

Finally, I presented the size of the dictionary.

You will notice this by carrying and using the product outside.

In conclusion, I believe this “E-WORD” will help your English studying and make your future bright.

お相手は、英会話学校の先生と、英会話に通っている主婦と、英語の先生を目指す中国人の御三方です。

インタビュー素材をそのまま流すわけではないのですが、少しでも参考になればこれ幸いですm(–)m

Um, exactly.  It should be. OK, please wait here. I will try to find.

（見つけてきて）

(Staff) Here you are. This was placed on a wrong shelf. Sorry.

(Nobuo) Oh, thank you very much!
