“O pussy willows,”

The kitten would sing,

“Gray pussy willows,
“灰白白的银柳
First sign of spring.
春的使者
You come with the spring
你和春天一起来
All furry and warm
毛茸茸暖和和
The summer begins
当夏天来临
And proof, you’re gone.”
噗一下！你就消失了。”
“O pussy willows,”
“喔，银柳，”
The kitten would purr.
小小猫呜呜叫
“Magic flowers
“神奇的花
All covered with fur,
浑身绒绒毛
Now you are here,
现在你在这儿
Then you disappear.
然后你消失了
You disappear

For another long year.”

“O little fur flowers”

That grow in the spring,

Your secret is kept
