Listen and never be alone again.
Found this podcast through Coffee + Crumbs podcast. Love it and listen during my commute everyday. Love the variety of topics. Relatable, funny, informative. Just what this new mama needs.
I live in the Middle East, different culture and traditions , even so this podcast touches on so many subjects that we deal with too. Parenting ups and downs have no boarders. It is one of may favorite podcasts and I find myself talking back to the presenters while Iâm driving around town. Great job.
Hello from rural Wyoming. I love love love the mom hour. Im a new mom to a 8 month old boy, with so many questions and preconceived notions that donât always pan out. I love having this resource and mom community. I wish i knew about this during my early postpartum. Knowing that i can listen to you ladies when i feel like every and anything i try is wrong is very uplifting and reassuring. I binge listen everyday. Thank you for all the support I appreciate it.(sorry about the bad grammar and spelling i was a fine arts major not english)ðCorina Crump
I just discovered this podcast, and am cranking through the circa 2015 ones...love it!
Meagan and Sarah are amazing to listen to, they are truly my mom group! They are real and down to earth and just so fun to listen to. They bring up such great topics!! I have gotten so much great advice!
I absolutely love this podcast! I think what I love the most is that there isnât one bit of parenting shaming. You listen and feel you arenât alone. So relatable. After listening I am instantly put in a better mood :)
You ladies are my favorite! Keep up the good work!
This podcast is full of wisdom. Itâs great to have mom friends who can give you advice but sometimes you feel pressured to do things in a particular way or feel like you are doing things wrong. Meagan and Sarah take advantage of their experiences parenting many children at a different time in history. I get this reassuring message that there is no one right way and I can feel better doing things the way I feel right. They are really not judgmental and encourage me to be a more compassionate mom toward myself and others.
I found The Mom Hour by scrolling through different parenting podcasts and, boy, what a find! Iâve been listening to Meagan and Sarah ever since I began listening to podcasts about a year ago. I have a 5 month old and 3 year old. I love how they can look at many different viewpoints on a particular subject and offer their own experience and way of doing things without being judgmental on other ways of doing the same thing. Their dialogue on the show has helped me, given me ideas and new perspectives, and shown me that I am not alone when it comes to certain anxieties and difficulties of motherhood. I love how they are so different and similar at the same time, and how that meshes well in such a supportive and nonjudgmental conversation on motherhood. I have been binge-listening to their past episodes for the past year and am (finally) almost at the first episode... not easy to do when you have two little ones to care for all day! Keep up the good work, Meagan and Sarah! I look forward on whatâs to come!
How can you ladies possibly know exactly what topics my soul needs to hear?!?! Thank you, thank you, thank you. Thatâs all.
These woman speak so quickly itâs hard to concentrate on their actual message over marveling at how quickly they speak.
I generally like most of the episodes but cringed the entire way through the potty training episode. As a professional myself, it was so hard to NOT hear very simple strategies that are research based and proven to work with young children. Dr Heather did not reference or site current research/studies once during the episode, nor did she discuss positive reinforcement (?!?) which is oftentimes a key component to toileting success. She didnât define toileting readiness or fully answer parent questions. If youâre going to have an âexpertâ on, I would encourage you to find one not associated with a brand they are trying so hard to sell. Pull ups are NOT the answer to every problem...
Finally getting around to say this is my go to show every week. Thank you for all the amazing content!
I used to enjoy this so much but there are way too many episodes coming out, they never respond to their email though they claim they do, and hating on 1-year-olds is not a positive message to send to mamas - many of us who truly love this phase of toddler/still a babyhood.
This is one of my favorite podcasts about motherhood and life. I canât decide if Iâm a Sarah or a Meagan, Iâd like to think Iâm a good combination of the two. I love that you ladies keep it real and are able to reassure us newer mamas that itâs all going to be okay. You are inspirational! Keep up the great work â¥ï¸
Love your show. My kids are10,9&6. Itâs all very relatable. Usually light and entertaining topics.
I have listened for a while now. Good content, common sense advice. One thing that kinda bugs me is that they both say âmm-hmmâ and âyeahâ constantly when the other one is talking. It is starting to drive me a little bonkers. Overall, though, nice podcast.
I love all the advice and real talk!
I always hear something useful from these warm, truthful mamas. Practical and enjoyable!
Iâm a new stay at home mom of 2 kiddos and this podcast makes the days go by faster and more enjoyable. All these topics are enjoyable to listen to and I love how genuine every episode is. Canât say enough good things about The Mom Hour!
I listen to the mom hour on days in which I have to drive 40 minutes to work. I look forward to my drives with Sarah and Meagan. I have listened to the podcast for almost a year now and feel such a connection. Real moms, offering advice and encouragement, while having fun! I have one daughter, whom just turned 6 years old. I often find myself laughing out loud in my car! I feel I know Sarah and Meagan through listening to the podcast. Two strong woman whom I admire!
I work from home and the days can seem so long when itâs just me home and the kids are at school. I got tired of listening to music and decided to give podcasts a try. These ladies tell are honest about life and the reality of raising kiddos and I can relate to so many things. Itâs nice to hear that somethings Iâve experienced isnât just me. Lol.
This is my favorite podcast by far! It was the first podcast I listened to. Recommended by someone in my local moms group on Facebook. Love love love it! I look forward to new episodes every week! Keep it up ladies, you are great!
I know this is cliche to say but I NEVER write reviews! I felt compelled to write one about this show. Not exaggerating when I say this show has legit helped me through some tough mom moments. Seems just when Iâm thinking âmom hour should do a show about thatâ sure enough an episode comes out covering that topic or I find one in the archives. I wait for each episode and get a thrill every time I see a new one come up. Itâs corny but I feel like I really KNOW Megan and Sara. I grew up in Southwest Michigan and lived in Arizona and Southern California and I really appreciate how they highlight the regional differences. Speaking of differences, I love how inclusive they are, they are not speaking for a niche audience, the content could apply to any parent, regardless of gender, age, region parenting style or path to parenthood. I subscribe to a lot of podcasts and this one is my hands down favorite. Listening to it is like catching up with a old friend who totally knows and understands you. I wouldnât change a thing. Keep the goodness coming, love it all.
I absolutely love the mom hour podcast. I listen to it all day at work and it makes time go so fast. I am 7 months pregnant with my first baby and I love the variety of topics / Age groups these lovely ladies discuss. Theyâre Awesome and I love the amount of shows they make:)
Really enjoy listening to this as a new mom. Was surprised with all the helpful information I have found that I can use now and excited to have tips stored away for the future.
Thanks so much for a down to earth, honest show. Iâm a mom of one and overwhelmed almost every day. My biggest struggle is mom wrk balance and listening to these ladies helps me remember Iâm not alone and that no decision is a wrong decision. It just has to be the right decision for me. All moms ROCK!!
Iâm seriously loving this pod cast. I started from the very beginning and am to the middle of 2017 on episodes. I have taken your insight and looked at myself as a mother and realized I needed to make some positive changes because the style of parenting I thought I had, was completely different than what I actually wanted my parenting style to look like. Thanks for the laughs, tears and transparency. Canât wait to be caught up and in real time. â¤ï¸â¤ï¸
Most of the episodes are so on point for me, and quite entertaining too! Sara and Megan are great hosts, and their chemistry is the Best!!
I discovered The Mom Hour a couple of weeks before my family moved from Pennsylvania to Iowa. I enjoyed it right away, but what sealed the deal and turned me into a loyal, listen-to-every-episode listener was my 13 hour solo drive to Iowa (done over 2.5 days) with my then-12 month old. Meagan and Sarah turned my long drive into what felt like a fun road trip with best friends. Theyâre funny, honest, down to earth, and encouraging. Give this show a listen- you wonât be sorry you did!
This is one of my favorite podcasts. Some podcasts I pick and choose the episodes I listen to, but I listen to each episode from The Mom Hour. I canât wait for another episode every week! You can tell Meagan & Sarah have a genuine friendship and it feels like Iâm joining in.
I discovered this podcast shortly after becoming a mom 3 years ago. At the time, I was living half way across the USA from family and felt alone as a mom at times. Listening to Sarah and Meagan felt like family was in the room empathizing and teaching me about motherhood! I am one of those listeners who went back and listened to every episode and also am always looking forward to the next one! Thanks, Sarah and Meagan!
I once described this podcast to my husband as âIâm listening to two women talking about doing the dishes as I do our dishesâ (can you guess which episode I was listening to at the time?). Itâs an easy going podcast that I enjoy having on in the background as I do other things. They have really good advice that Iâm planning on applying when my newborn is a bit older.
Sarah and Meghan give helpful and practical advice every week on their podcast. Listening to them is like having a supportive friend cheering you on weekly. I love their âdown to earthâ parenting styles. Thanks for an awesome show!
When I find a new podcast, I listen to a few and then go back to their beginning. These ladies are great from the get go! Iâm loving listening ð you really spoil us on the sound quality also! I listen in the car or as I wash dishes with kids running around and I can always hear you!
Meagan and Sarah are very relatable and funny. I have listened to almost every episode ! Keep them coming please !
Love the mom hour! Parenting is so hard and no one tells you how to do it. This Podcast doesnât tell you what to do, but instead makes you feel better about the choices you are making as a parent. Itâs also full of tips and strategies to try...great way to spend my commute!
I am a newer listener to the Mom Hour and have loved the wide range of topics covered. I especially love the Voices episodes where we get introduced to even more perspectives. Real moms living real lives and sharing experiences is great to hear.
I have loved this Podcast for the last 2 or so years. Itâs so light hearted, great stories, and just conversation! Not a list of must dos, or we have it all together, but hey this works for us, and we love you and whatever works for you! Such friendly and relatable Mommaâs who share the great, the hard, and the funny!
I love these ladies! They give legit advice on many helpful topics! I recently went back and played part of the lunch episode (151) for my Kinder and 2nd grader to get more ideas for their school lunches. They heard and wanted applause and yogurt added into their choices. ðThanks Sarah and Meagan for producing a great show! I grew up in Michigan and had my first 2 babies there but now live in SoCal where I had my 3rd and final baby. Occasionally Meagan will mention something distinctly Michigan (Meijer) and I just smile and I can often relate to the stores and outdoor lifestyle that Sarah brings to the conversation.
Iâve tried out so many Mom podcasts and the Mom Hour is by far the best one out there! Love this podcast so much. I look forward to Tuesday car rides to listen to the latest episode! Love that you have added Katie and now Allison for âlittleâ kid perspective
I somehow stumbled across this podcast about 2-3 months ago and have now listened to almost all the episodes. Interestingly enough, Iâm not a Mom, but I find Sarah and Meagan so endearing that I still connect with the episodes. I currently work full-time in the Public Accounting field but am interested in starting my own fitness and nutrition business, so Iâm also intrigued by the entrepreneurial topics sprinkled into the show as well. I recommend this podcast to those of all demographics. Many thanks to Meagan and Sarah for being consistent and genuine podcasters!
This podcast has quickly become my favorite! Parenting conversations are real and heart warming. Bingeing from the beginning! ð
Love this podcast keep going! ð
There is no greater feeling than not feeling alone. You two are great hosts. Iâm currently in the trenches and really enjoy the encouragement and sisterhood through this podcast.
These guys always tell it like it is. I love their honest and experienced approach. The topics they choose are great too. I've been listening for years and it never gets old, plus they have a huge backlist of episodes.
This podcast is so encouraging to me as a SAHM. The hosts offer practical strategies to make family life easier. Their topics are always timely, thoughtful and well organized. Best of all, their advice is practical and down to earth. Learn from these two moms who have seen it all before!
Wow!!! New intro!!! A little confused at first but love it
I love listening to you ladies ð. I work in my car for much of the work day & listening to your podcast is a great enjoyable way to pass my time, itâs like hanging out with my girlfriends ð. Keep up the great work!
