Crim seems like a great guy, but the mix of him with the two regulars is dramatically worse than it was with Chris Van Meter.CVM provided a nice serious counterbalance to the main hosts. But now itâs all cringey nervous laughter as everyone literally laughs at their own jokes... or even at no joke at all. âThat card is good hahahaha.â What?Iâd love the podcasters to treat the show a little more seriously instead of recording some buddies chatting with each other and calling it a day.
Dear, Seth,Crim,Richard, and Tomer 2/19/2019Hello everyone itâs Seth probably better known as Safronolive. (Seth sorry if I spelt that ð) best podcast ever Sethâs silliness and Richards filthy cashaule perspectiva and crims well... crim whatever his personality is??? Befor Mondays where always dreadful but when I found out about MTG Goldfish I was all in. It started when people at my legs stopped playing stand eres so I played modern and I watch agents the odds. Then I found out about commander clash for a long Time I was looking for something like game knights made by ( the command zone)! It so great that there are so many funny people in the world! Sincerely, Jace
Can Crim complete a single sentence without chuckling? Itâs actually distracting how often he laughs.
Meme cards can be good!!!Iâm writing too many exclamation points!!!
These folks are so entertaining that my wife loves to listen even though she has a mere cursory knowledge of Magic: the Gathering. P.S. Erin is her favorite. Also, when is the Newsening returning. Three guys seriously. Thanks yâall.
I used to find a lot of useful information and discussion in this podcast. The hosts have a younger look at the game, and their lack of experience used to bring a fresher perspective rather than an air of niaveté. However, as of late, the introduction of CVM has made it crystal clear that the other hosts are not currently cut out for an accurate nor interesting portrayal of the weekâs news. CVM is a saint, bringing Richard and Seth back on track while they squawk about the same garbage Reddit topics that have been rehashed a thousand times. After listening to this weekâs episode, itâs become abundantly clear that an episode without CVM is an episode without integrity. Do some research, both on journalistic integrity and finding less Buzzfeed-style headlines, and the podcast can get back on track.
HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLO EVERYONE, ITâS SETH. PRAHBABLY BETTER KNOWN AS SAFFRONOLIVE.Seriously though- this podcast is wonderful and fantastic for any Magic players looking for a great listen discussing everything MTG.
The MTGGoldfish podcast is my favorite meta-Magic podcast. Instead of concentrating exclusively the cardboard, they discuss everything surrounding the game from finance to the latest community conversation. Always a great listen.
This podcast is a great for anybody who plays the game casually or has a casual interest in the âfinancial aspect of the gameâ. The hosts keep it at a simple to understand level and you could go to an Friday Night Magic event and have an intelligent conversation with people about current events in Magic.
This has serious potential but could use less whining.
Always look forward to this podcast every week for the news on future set releases and all types of MTG news. Seth and Richard are always fun to listen to, would recommend even for new players!
You sound like dinguses talking about things you donât know
These three know their stuff and discuss Magic news and finance. I like the show because they seem friendly and like some normal guys you could chill with.Iâve listened since Origins came out. Excellent podcast.
Balanced coverage of product, game play, and community for the Magic: the Gathering trading card grame. Entertaining banter is complimented by solid strategy. Saffron Olive is a remarkable content creator that is knowledgable yet relatable. On a seperate note - I've been a listener for over a year; the recent change in hosts to a duo has prompted me to finally write a review. The change to a duo of hosts has reduced the repetitive nature of "everybody talk about the same thing" and has resulted in a comfortable discussion that is a joy to listen to... The chemistry between Richard and Seth is genuine and the result is a thoroughly enjoyable listen... I look forward to this weekly podcast.
I look forward to every Monday and hearing the gangâs thoughts on the world of Magic.
They do an amazing job covering Magic the Gathering. In my humble opinion best podcast in any genre.
The MTG Goldfish crew do a great job of covering some of the biggest happenings in Magic, each with their own opinion.
There are few MTG podcasts that are as informative as this one. I really enjoy the fact that they cover the pro tour and standard as well.
This is one of the most extensive podcasts out there. They go over all parts of magic, old and new. Best podcast!!
I originally fount mtg goldfish on you tube and found that their commander clash series to be informative and entertaining. It's nice to see that their quality content also translates to the podcast. One complaint/request I have regards the audio mixing. While the audio quality is high, the podcast is mixed in stereo, with two hosts coming out of each (left and right) channel. I tend to listen to of cast during work but only using one earbud at a time. Unfortunately this means that I only get half of the conversation at a time. It would be nice if it was mixed in mono so all of the host could be heard through a single channel.
This is a great podcast! Chaz, Seth, and Richard have great chemistry, and I look forward to every new episode. This is my go to podcast and website for MTG.
It definitely helped me improve my decks.
This podcast is pretty good, if you want to listen to a bunch of dewds complaining about standard, this podcast is for you
Great podcast. I'm relatively new to Magic, and enjoy the fianance discussion as well as the deck lists on the website. Definately recommend this podcast.
Thanks for making a concise and informed podcast about mtg finance without all the silly bantering and elitist attitude. You chaps are exactly what mtg finance needed. I will share this with my friends.
