Welcome to episode 24 of the Mastering Marriage Podcast. Today's question comes from a husband who is struggling with his wife threatening to leave the marriage. He asks, "I've started following your page yesterday and been looking through all your post and I must say that these post give me hope. I read one of your post where you talked about speaking good things to your spouse no matter how bad and low the marriage is but how can someone continue to speak good things if your spouse is constantly reminding you how "they don't want to be with you, I'm ready for a divorce, I can't wait until paper work is filed, I no longer want to be married to you etc"? Every day I try to speak life into our marriage but it seems that once I do the negativity follows behind. I'm trying to work hard for my marriage; paperwork in filing has not been done on no one's end. I don’t want the divorce, when I said "I do" that was that but she on the other hand does.
