Debra makes so much sense and after following her for a few years, I feel better (no daytime energy crashes anymore), look forward to exercising, and am seeing results! I am loving life again. This is a total game changer!
A trainer who can relate to trainers and to customers about hormones and fitness for now is rare! The hormone difference ! Thank goodness I found you.
As you approach 50, and even past that magic number, it becomes more important than ever to know how to take care of your health-physically, nutritionally and emotionally! I love Debraâs stuff. Sheâs such a great advocate for pushing you to be your best as you age. Worth listening!
Debra is a brilliant host. I love how she seems to know the perfect questions to ask in order to get the most insightful and useful content from each of her guests. The topics are always relevant and helpful too, great job!
Love this podcast. Such valuable content. Made my mom subscribe and listen to get her hormones in check. A must listen.
This is a great source of information for any women 50 and over. Topics are relatable and valuable. She has a good variety of guests that are top in their field of expertise. And her voice is very pleasant and easy to listen to. She does a great job of providing and thoroughly explaining information relative to her audience. Highly recommend!
Debra is a trainer and has a knack for making her information easy-to-understand and practical. I love that she focuses on not just looking good but also feeling great. Thanks Debra for the great content! Allison
Fitness is my jam, so I am so grateful I found this wonderful podcast :)
OK, so it's really cool to listen to a show that is specifically for people my age! I'm not trying to look hot and fit into my bikini. I want to be healthy and to exercise without doing damage. I want to look good but I'm not willing to kill myself to do it. Debra, the host, is easy to listen to. She's fun, energetic and has a great sense of humor. Her guests are great. I've learned a lot and will continue to listen.
This podcast is a new discovery for me. I've been binge-listening and absolutely love the amazing guests and their helpful information. Since listening, I've purchased many of the books from the featured guests, and have particularly enjoyed the episode regarding the "Cancer Hates Tea" book. I've expanded my knowledge in so many subject areas that I didn't know existed. As I'm getting close to 60, this podcast has helped me to feel so much better about myself and the direction I'm going with my health and fitness. Thank you Ms. Atkinson for featuring an expansive array of knowlegeable guests and for focusing on an age group that is often written off. We still have so much to contribute as we age, and it's refreshing to listen to informed guests who help us remember that fact.
I stumbled upon this podcast. I just listened to E5 about reducing anxiety. Very useful.
I just heard your Flippinâ 50 Podcast about your nephew and his family and I cried throughout. I want to thank you for your grace and courage to share your story. I know that sharing your life is something you do but I want you to know that you connected. I found your blog through AARP and have been listening to a few episodes today including this one. Thank you for doing the show. And thank you for sharing your life.
The information provided is great. I have listened to 5 podcasts. I really like when there is a guest on the show. My only suggestion relates to the quality of the audio. There is a great deal of smacking, which is very distracting.
Debra provides her listeners all they need to know and more about how to stay fit and healthy. Whether you know a lot about wellness already or are just getting started, The Flipping 50 Show is a great resource!
Debraâs topics are right on target and speak directly to the audience of us on flip side. I listen to her podcasts every day to and from work. Each podcast I listen to has a message that resonates with me and I feel compelled to take the steps I need to take in order to get back on track. Iâve just taken the first step by signing up for a free five day course.
Thanks for your thoughts! First I am a guy and a climber. I really appreciate your thoughts on addressing how we all need to identify things that we would like to change, set goals and then show up to get the job done. Rolling flexibility and maintaining a balance in strength and body maintanence activities (like nutrition) are paying dividends! Thanks
This is a very informative podcast. It addresses women's problems over fifty. There is not a whole lot of information on dealing with the problem of weight gain during peri menopause and menopause. The information that is out there makes you feel as if there is no help for the menopot. Yeah flipping fifty. You give me direction and a bit of hope.
