Show notes

The heroes of Star Wars are put under a microscope on this episode of Far Far Away Radio. Join your hosts as they discuss the heroes of the prequel and original trilogies, while also speculating about the protagonists of Star Wars: Episode VII. We discuss the daughter of Luke Skywalker, the makings of an idealistic Jedi, traits that the big three from both trilogies share, and so much more! You'll even get a blast from the past and hear about Luke, Leia and Han from the ultimate sources, via interviews recorded in 1977 with Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, and Harrison Ford.

The gang also addresses the rumor of a working title for Episode VII and what it could mean for the film. The Ancient Fear? It's better than Jar Jar's Big Adventure!

The show wraps up with a special segment featuring the team from Star Wars in the Classroom (visit www.starwarsintheclassroom.com). They pay the show a visit to help examine the mythology of Star Wars, focusing specifically on the hero's journey. This educational and insightful segment offers a closer look at some of these mythological archetypes that influenced George Lucas and provides solid ground for speculation on the sequel films.

Sit back and relax with Chris, Meg, Austin, Mallory, Jason, and Andrew as they talk about that galaxy far, far away.
