He is the author of the best selling book “You're Lucky You're Funny: How Life Becomes a Sitcom,” directed president Bill Clinton in the white house correspondents dinner video, and co-wrote the 9/11 telethon “America: A Tribute To Heroes” …which aired on all four networks, won a peabody award, and was nominated for an emmy for outstanding writing.  His first feature film for sony pictures, “Exporting Raymond,” which he wrote and directed, is the true story about the attempt to turn “Everybody Loves Raymond” into a successful Russian sitcom.
