In 1992, Common debuted with his album “Can I borrow a Dollar?” The album didn't sell well which frustrated the Chicago MC. When asked by Tim on The Library if Common would have changed anything about the album, he said:

“It what it was because I was new and I hadn't developed as an artist yet...I wouldn't change it at all because that is what I was able to offer at the time...An artist changes, grows and evolves. I wouldn't go back and change anything”
