The Profit Mandate. How To Become a PROFITABLE Steward.
12 minutes Posted Aug 21, 2015 at 7:00 am.
-27, or the equivalent version on the Minas in Luke 19: 12-27, talks about managers who received money to run their boss' business in his absence. Upon his return, he called them to account for their activity and the one who got one (talent / mina) had buried it, and returned it in the exact condition received.  The manager who got two,  had made a 100% profit of two more; and the manager who got five, also made a 100% profit of five more.

Christians in business or management this is for you.
The parable of the Talents in Matthew
The manager who got one, and returned the one, was berated for being a "lazy, wicked servant", and the one talent he did have, was taken from him and given to the one who had five.
Profit is mandated.  Whether you see the word talent as we understand it today, or as money as it is used in the parable, the outcome is the same.  God expects his people, his stewards of all He has given us - to earn more with that investment.  MORE is the essence of abundance, of profit.  We are all uniquely gifted, and those gifts, passions and talents can all be monetized to profitability.
