I have been listening to this show on and off for a few years. I used to subscribe. I stopped because I donât like the host. He comes off like a snake oil salesman always referring to his mold free coffee. I find this show when I search for certain health and nutrition topics. I listened to the first half of a recent episode where the guest was Satchin Penda talking about eating and itâs affect on sleep. The host talked he entire time. I could not hear the expert get one word in.
Informative, wide-ranging, broad-spectrum perspectives on a vast array of environmental, dietary, exercise, biochemical, and psychospiritual approaches to improving human performance, this has become my favorite podcast. You'll find yourself taking a second listen to so many shows. They're teeming with game changers from surprisingly diverse fields. While I don't agree with, or adopt, every concept or hack I learn, there is solid research behind most of them. I especially enjoyed Dave's interviews of Dr. Barry Morguelan, William J. Walsh, and Lt. Col. Dave Grossman!
As an esthetician I have found incredible value in all the podcast topics. The topics on gut bacteria has helped me to have so much insight for my clients! If you want to look great and more importantly feel great you need to subscribe. As a soon to be 60 year old I value all his guests interviews to keep me feeling great.
Iâve been a listener of Bulletproof Radio for a while now but admittedly only recently subscribed when I realized I couldnât live without it. :)Dave and his world-class guests give listeners an unfair advantage when it comes to experiencing life with a new physical (and emotional) resilience. Donât make the same mistake I did - subscribe, subscribe, subscribe.
I've been a listener for several years (in PocketCast), but I went through the pain of installing itunes just so I could leave this review. Dave's guests are great, his outlook on longevity is unparallelled. There's rarely an episode that doesn't inspire me to action of some sort.I only wish I could afford the toys Dave talks about -- the lights, the ring, the tests...Keep it up, Dave! I'll listen for the next 115 years (until I'm 180)!
I just finished listening to episode 566. Wow! I was shocked to find out that tween girl suicide rates had tripled- as an auntie of a little 11 year old girl, I felt it was my duty to share this episode with her parents. I had to share this with my husband who has been a gamer since the first Atari game system came out- for informational purposes. Just great information! Thank you!
THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR PODCASTS. I TRULY HAVE LEARNED SO MUCH AND CONTINUE TO LEARN FROM YOUR PODCASTS. KEEP THEM COMING
I am very grateful that Dave Asprey takes the time to interview so many diverse people who have me thinking about what it is that I need to do for myself. Who cares if the information isnât perfect, the important thing it that we all do our own critical thinking and I believe Dave helps me do this. I am a super dork and have the ability as a business owner to listen to podcast while I work, so I have listened to most of them. It has greatly helped me up me up my game with my upholstery business, in my personal life and I can better help my friends and family having more tools in my bag. I also enjoyed that he has interview other very motivating people whom have had great success and helped so many people. Of course there are promotions and what not on the show (who doesnât like money) but if you want to help change yourself and the world, this is a good place to start. Why would anyone give negative feed back on something that is free? I hope Dave ignores it and continues to look for answers and ask the hard questions. Thank you for what you do!
Love bulletproof radio canât get enough of it. Thank you!
This podcast is amazing. It covers all kinds of topics will all kinds of people from all cultures, believes, and dietary approaches. Yes, it is a bit Paleo / Keto bias, but they are always backed by science. Please Dave & crew don't stop doing what you are doing. It gives access to many of us who do not necessarily have the means to get all this info first hand, to know that it is out there, that there is hope, that maybe one day, after we figure out how to get out of our common life, we can achieve great performance. THANKS!After listening to your podcasts and read your books, I am finally doing what you asks us to: To leave a review.... it is the least I can do.
Phenomenal guest that really are experts in their fields. I learn so much listening both to Dave and his guest. If you are looking for the most cutting edge bio-hacking information, this is it.update Feb 10th 2019, still my favorite podcast. Dave is delivering so much content and so frequently! THANK YOU!
Great interview with Ricki Lake! Thanks!
I canât believe the amount of knowledge I received after I listened this podcast. From nutrition, health, exercise, meditation, psychological, hormones, paleo, keto, etc etc subjects you covered in this podcast. I listen everyday, looked up notes and links you provided. Keep up the good work!!! I enjoy it alooooooootttt!!!! & Thank you so much.
If you want to maximize (and elongate) your one life on earth ... start listening to this show.Work your way back in time, take notes, do your own research. Administer two grains of salt for everything everyone says ... thats what I did. And now I'm celebrating the best health of my life, Bulletproof Radio is a staple.Thank you Dave Asprey for your heart, your kindness, your compassion, your vision, and the thousands and thousands of raw work hours that are below the surface. Truly an exemplorary human being (2.0)Keep upgrading
Hi Dave, I just completed reading your book âthe bulletproof dietâ and on my way to buy your other book Game Changers ! I really enjoy what you have done for people and I appreciate how youâve inspired me to take control of my physiology. I do have one question that I hope you can discuss . You always talk about how you wish to live till 180 and think people will live way longer than they do now. I donât mean to sound like a pessimist but donât you think that might have a drastic impact on societies and economy if so many people live for that long? Imagine the social implications of having people from multiple generations living on one planet. The extreme wide range of opinions when it comes to politics because of how differently you view the world according to which generation youâre from. These are just some thoughts I have when I think about how extending human life would impact society. Nevertheless, I think enhancing the quality of peopleâs life is very important. Im just curious to see if you have wondered about the effects long human life would have on a larger scale. Thank you again for such a great podcast and Iâm always excited to listen to your shows!
Promoted the Overconsumption of fats which is harmful to most people As well as touring the constant use of exogenous ketones which donât allow the liver to detox properly...Assprey acts like he cares but itâs a hollow and unconvincing act
An infovore is one way I describe myself. I'm so grateful for all the rich game changing information you all share in your podcasts! Thank you for the path you're on and all you've interviewed. Your work is greatly appreciated. From my soul and biology to yours!I'm looking into your Human Potential Coaching! Thanks Dave!Faith
I can honestly say Dave has had game hanging effect on my life and well being.I donât write reviews but here is goes. His books Bulletproof Diet, Headstrong and Gamechangers I own them all! I traveled from San Bernardino to his coffee shop in Santa Monica and also checked out his lab next door. I am thoroughly in on everything does, writes or records. Ex. He interviewed a man named Tyler about the curative powers of hydrogen. I had horrible osteoarthritis throughout my whole body. I found a small water bottle that produces hydrogen and drank the water for the last six weeks. I can touch my toes today and no longer require the pain medication. I went to my physician brought book and showed her my mobility. No longer need a walker etc. Thank you Dave for all you do!!! The podcast is the best their is. Iâll be at your events and 40 days of Zen when I win the the lottery or my financial circumstances change. Best podcast!
It is clear that one of Daveâs passions is to create a world where we all experience optimum health. Iâm so grateful for his thirst to share as much knowledge as he can about subjects that will improve our lives. Itâs no wonder that Dr. Hyman and others consult with Dave when theyâre looking for answers.
I'm interested in biohacking/self-improvement/overall health and wellness, so there's definitely some good information to be gleaned from this podcast. However, Dave comes across as incredibly self-absorbed. I'm sure this quality is partially responsible for his success, but now that you're so successful, could you tone it down a little, Dave? We know you wrote Gamechangers, there's no need to mention it literally every 5-10 minutes. "That's exactly what I wrote in my new book, Gamechangers" "oh I'm so glad you said that, because we have that in game changers". You have millions of dollars! Is a few more book sales really so important? It's really hard to listen to someone who is constantly talking about himself, rather than actually taking an interest in and INTERVIEWING the other person on your podcast! Seriously dude, why?? It seems Dave doesn't read these reviews because he hasn't taken any of it into consideration, but Dave, if you do, please consider this. You could end up with even MORE success if you're not always talking about yourself/bragging about your money, your book, your businesses, your millions, or all the money you spend on your family/kids/whatever. Please, just try to be a little more humble
Of course they aren't all mind blowing episodes in my opinion, but none will ever leave you feeling empty, sort of like a handful of low-carb pumpkin spice fat bombs. As for the mind blowing episodes.., well.., there are quite a few that need to be spread virally in order to help save our planet. No big deal.. Dave Asprey is as knowlegeable and accomplished of a host that you'd maybe never finde and his guests are just as incredible. So what you don't know can hurt you... This is one of the greatest radio/podcast/talk shows of all our time yet. At-a-boy Dave!! Thanks for all you do for us. Truly a blessing.
If you care at all about human performance, then youâll love this show. Thatâs really all there is to it. I feel like a kid in a candy store going through all the episodes. Sleep, nutrition, exercise, mindfulness, psychopharmacology...whatâs not to love!!
But a bit too much on constant self-promotion regarding Daveâs own huge weight loss (and 6 pack) eating lots of fat inserted in basically every episode, and that heâs already said this or that in one of his books. Too much plugging of his own stuff; itâs obvious & a bit of a turn off. Others doing similar work Iâve noticed would rarely, if ever, approach interviews the way Dave does (patting himself on the back at every opportunity) :-(
Dave has done more to educate both the sophisticated listener as well as the newbie in the bio hacking space. He stands in rarified air with one or two other authorities, yet Dave makes it fun, while imparting an Immense amounts of knowledge. Thanks Dave!
Great podcast. How can i get the nano test?
I have really enjoyed the recent podcasts you've been putting out! They are getting even better! Thanks for doing this podcast I enjoy it so much! I really learn so much from you thank you!
I have listened to several of Dave Asprey's Podcasts. He interviews intersting people and high level achievers. Always learn lots of hacks and motivational tips. Thanks for sharing!
Dave Asprey is so full of himself itâs nauseating. Some episodes are interesting, but every episodes always go back to his same stories. Grew up with toxic mold, was 300lbs., had the umbilical cord around his neck at birth, started the first e-commerce business (really?), responsible for the cloud (come on), wants to live to 180, Webster dictionary lists his name under biohacker, etc. Plenty of other podcasters with the same info out there that donât think their poop smells like roses.
I have listened to this very frequently over the past 2 years, clocking up more than 200 episodes. I would say I have enjoyed 99% of them. In a cut throat world of health marketing this is still done with integrity and delivered professionally. Naturally there is some self-promotiion and sales talk in there but in 200+ episodes this has not bothered me at all. I am interested in the discussion that develops with the guest and the host. There is always an interesting learning angle. It can open up a new door. It does not have to be treated as a universty lecture class but rather as intellgience enrichening personal use of time.
Iâve listened to this podcast for years now. I felt like I should finally leave a review to show my pure gratitude for this show. It always helps me stay focused on my health and inspired to be better each day. Highly recommended.
Wow do I feel unworthy as I try to live my own best life I canât walk among people like this and listening to the name drops âClinton, Musk,Bezosâ normal people are just in the way.
I really enjoyed listening to the DNA Fit episode. It gives motivation and tools for living The Best Life
Just listened to the Jack Canfield interview.... amazing... so human and so uplifting! I am going through a very challenging time right now and just listening to this on my ride into work grounded me from all my anxieties. I appreciate all the work that you do for overall wellness across all the topics you cover. Thank you for the hard work!
One of the longest running shows Iâve followed over the years, and Dave continues to deliver high-quality content over a diverse range of topics.
Thank you Dave. I have listened to several sessions over the years and always feel motivated to live a better longer life.
I have been listening to this podcast for a year now. I thoroughly enjoy the guests Dave interviews and that he had done his research on their area of expertise (Dave always has thought provoking questions). Every episode I learn something new and have purchased numerous biohacking supplements and products from the recommendations or discussions ... usually with a nice discount from the show. In the entire year Iâve been listening to this podcast there has only been one single episode that I just couldnât stomach. That was the one with Dr William Davis - the wheat belly cardiologist. As a physician myself I found his comments about modern medicine insulting and downright rude. There were gross generalizations about groups of physicians that I found unprofessional. Anyway, thatâs the only episode of the hundreds Iâve listened to that I really disliked. Otherwise the guests are always professional and insightful. You will not be disappointed with this podcast.
The way women were spoken about in the Wheat Belly episode was honestly embarrassing...the guest suggested more women were fans because women want to look slim in form fitting dresses AND blamed a âsexy sales rep in a miniskirtâ for why doctors are not trained correctly... gross, inappropriate, and also wrong. I was already losing patience with the extreme emphasis this show places on buying his products, and to hear the way his guest spoke about women and the way he chimes in was so weird. If you care about that sort of thing this show will make you uncomfortable.
There are no words to express my gratitude for the work & research Dave has put in to the ever-evolving âhealth industry.â Heâs not trying to sell a fad diet, write a one-hit wonder book, or âin it just for the money.â His passion for health & over-all body wellness has sparked in me a passion & thirst for knowledge of how our bodies truly function, on an insatiable level. The amount of knowledge shared on each podcast rivals that of what any college lecture could offer, when comparing amount of grasped knowledge shared per minute. His insight & level of interest in hacking the function of the human body & in making the world a better place is inspiring and truly gives me hope. Love the transparency & courage to share his fails along the way, as well as his wins. A true, innovative leader & way too under-recognized for the milestones heâs reached for not just himself...or in the following industries: bio/ physio/ biochem/ neuro-feedback/ oncology/ stem-cell/ cancer treatment/ alzheimerâs/natural wellness/ medical/ western medicine/ dermatology/ sun wear/ big agro/ food/ sustainable & ethical farming/ grass-fed beef/ grass-fed butter/ clean coffee/ ecommerce/ internet/ lab-testing/ lab data/ anti-aging/ psych/ supplement/ small startup/ restaurant/ coffee shops/ literature/ education/ entrepreneurship/ motivational speaking/ podcast/ leadership/ meditation/ yoga/ research-based/ clinical care/ patient advocacy/ bio-markers/ fitness/ coaching/ life coaching/ sports performance/ body building/ sports-injury/ recovery/ rehab/ ecological/ sleeping disorders/ diet/ HEALTH/ dairy/ wheat/ cooking/ airlines/ big pharma/ waste disposal/ pesticides(glyphosate)/ clean water/ conservation/ marine life/ ocean cleanup/ networking/ toxic mold cleanup/ technology/ probiotics/ emf exposure/ silicon valley tech startups/ positive ions biological effect / infrared technology/ âearthingâ or âgroundingâ mats/ fertility/ . . . but for all people, everywhere, willing to read, listen to, or experience his research backed findings. Bio-hacking is an actual field now because of Dave Asprey. But, I guess all leaders with great impacts on people & the world arenât ever truly realized or celebrated until after-the-fact, in a âhindsight is 20/20â kind of way. Content is original, thought provoking, and best of all, makes you question out-dated, sometimes corrupt, schools of thought. But, hey donât take my word for it. âIf someone came to you today & asked what were the 3 most critical factors to achieve a happy, fulfilling, successful life... what would you tell them?â
Peer reviewed data is rarely cited in this show thats main purpose seems to be selling products and reinforcing false ideas.
This podcast is talks about the science of human health and performance. Itâs cutting edge and amazing. I learn so much every time. All the guests are interesting and smart. Love it.
I generally find every podcast informative. Some of them are potential game changers. I personally tend to be open minded but am skeptical when things are broadcasted as a way to dramatically and quickly change your life. Iâve been down that road a few times with less than spectacular results. You will see complaints about pseudoscience and confirmation bias. Itâs possible. On some subjects I know Dave and his guests have the answer. Others they may have. Some they may not. I think the consistent thread is that they all believe that things can be improved and they consistently challenge the status quo. Iâm onboard with that and really think that big pharma, big food, and conventional medicine need that. No, we need that. Some of these shows have really resonated with me. Functional medicine, dnafit, heavy metals, etc. Some of these are still in my research phase and some I have embarked on. Daveâs show on functional medicine really encouraged me to look at surgery alternatives to CECS and PAES. I canât claim to be a success story yet but I am down a path that I am still hopeful for. Much less evasive and attempting to deal with the source of the problem instead of using surgery to strictly deal with the symptom. Who wouldnât do that. A lot of the guests gave potentially worthwhile causes but the price points are tough to overcome. On occasion bulletproof listeners get a really good deal and the product is already in the reasonable range. Taking the DNAFit Diet Fitness Pro 360 for 25% off is very nice. Time will tell if itâs money well spent or not. My advice is to be open minded, focus on those things that are in your area if need, and do some more research. I trust Dave but like anything else I try to verify it. Enjoy!
Just the good stuff
Inspiring, innovative, and transforming!
Dave presents great information that will help to change our helath and wellness.
Daveâs podcasts are the best. The content is amazing and covers so many topics. He always brings on fascinating people with thought-provoking info. I love them all! Keep them coming!!
The information in these interviewes with top docs, researchers etc. is far beyond what you will hear in your doctors office. If you really want to know the truth, Dave is on a mission to uncover it. He does his homework and has the big brains to figure it out but admits when he has contradictory information. He is humble and admits where he has doubt. Biology is tough! I totally trust him...even through the promoting of his fabulous, clean products. BTW...If we only listen to those with trust funds...those who don't have to earn an income by selling products related to thier passion, or 20 year double blind placebo controlled diet studies, we will never get the truth IN TIME to slow aging, improve performance, cure diabetes, cancer and so on.
Dave has some of the greatest and most inspirational minds on this planet on his podcast. He asks great questions and the conversation is very interesting.
Listening to Bulletproof Radio has become part of my daily ritual. I look forward to listening to what I could learn, and then applying my new knowledge to my daily life. Iâve learned so much in listening to his podcasts over the span of 2 weeks, I canât wait to see how much I can learn by continuing this daily habit. This podcast is definitely all about becoming a better person in every faction of life, not just the physical side of life. ðð¼
Bulletproof Podcast hands down has the best content I have found in regard to providing tools for an everyday guy like me to change my biology so I can perform better, think better, love better, and play better. I strongly feel that Dave Asprey is committed to his audience and is passionate about providing a toolbox of self care on an incredible level. I learn something new every time I tune in. Thank you for helping me and motivating me to change the way I live. Its all been positive!! -Isaac S
Outstanding all-around. Appreciate all of the hard work that goes into identifying and presenting these insights.
