I discovered this podcast just a month or two ago. Iâve been blown away with the value of your program. We learn something new with each and every episode and have fun in the process! That is a big win in our homeschool. My 5 and 10 year olds are now in love with ragtime due to the last few episodes. We also used some older episodes to review Vivaldi. The best part was the description given of the identifying marks of Baroque. Now they are noticing those features in other pieces of music, artwork and even call certain gaudy flowers âBaroque Flowersâ. I love it!Thank you for putting together such a wonderful resource. Youâre motivating families to expand their musical horizons and have been a breath of fresh air for our homeschool. Best wishes!Leah MasseyOur Habitat Home
For anyone wanting to learn more about music, musicians and musical history this is a wonderful podcast. At about 5 minutes a podcast it gives you a lot chew on and enjoy. My children and I enjoy this together and I sometimes listen to it on my own as well. My two year old will dance and my bigger kids will say, âIâve heard this!â Or âThis is new.â We love Classics for Kids!
I have learned so much about music, love the podcast. :):)
I love these little nuggets of knowledge! As a music teacher Iâm always seeking out new information and musical ideas I can share with my students! This is a great resource for professional enrichment and great music! Thank you!
Great length, great topics, great mix of spoken and music. Volume is much lower than other podcasts in my line-ups. This keeps me from listening as often as iâd like.
The history of composers and classical music has fascinated me from a very young age! It is so awesome to get a weekly short show that spot lights the music and the people behind it in an incredibly interesting non-academic way.
My wife and I never miss an episode. Always learn something. A brilliant 6 minutes
I just discovered this podcast, and my son (7) has declared it to be his favorite. I love watching him listen. It's wonderful to see him falling in love with great music.
Thank you thank you for investing this wonderful podcast to enrich the lives of our children as well as the parents. We are so excited! God bless you guys!
Informative and entertaining. Gives historical background on classical pieces.
Interesting and concise lessons on classical music. The simplicity of it is refreshing, I've not found anything quite as well done for adults...but this does the trick for me!
Best 6 minutes spent in the week. I would download daily if it was possible. My 4 and 8-year old and the rest of the family can't wait for every new episode. I plan to introduce our music school to this resource. Keep up the good work!
This is one of the best podcast on music and music history I have been able to find. I have enjoyed learning about music styles and have really been wrapped up in the stories about the composers. I can't wait for each podcast!
Podcasts are fun, interesting and don't speak down to kids. Well done!
Hey, my 3 year old likes it, and I think it's great, especially the history. I hope you'll continue the series.
I love this podcast. I've been listening to it and using it in my music classroom for years. I find it a valuable source of information about classical music, and really enjoy listening to them for my own amusement as well. I highly recommend this for anyone, child or adult, with an interest in classical music.
I am a mother of three children ages 1 to 8, and we all look forward to this podcast every week. This is the best way to learn to love classical music!
My kids have been listening to this via the web for almost a year now, and they still look forward to it every week! Short, to the point, and engaging for the kids...my age group is from 5 to 12, so good for all ages. Great info from a classical viewpoint!
