Uncomfortable is a great listen, because it addresses the money topics we all think about but wonât discuss. Itâs hard to get friends and family to be real about money. Now I have Uncomfortable to listen to and use as a conversation starter with people. Another excellent program from Marketplace.
Lacks depth or much detail, itâs ok if I canât find anything else to listen to but some episodes were really boring.
Sometimes im looking for a podcast that is a little more focused and specifc topic heavy than just a celebrtiy interview, and this is it. Very relatable points of view, and some completely change my perspective on what others have been feeling/going through.
Love how relatable the stories are! I think itâs so important we share intimate, vulnerable stories about money and the ways it impacts our lives. Definitely gonna keep listening!
I love the personal approach to financial themes and discussions. Excellent idea and flawless, captivating execution.I look forward to each episode! But if you make me tear up again like with Episode 10 I may have to delete it
Love this podcast! Itâs refreshing and comforting to hear the different stories that all come together to share a common theme. Each have had aspects that I can relate to in some way. I especially appreciate and like that weâre hearing stories are from non-white people and that this platform is here to share our experiences. Keep up the awesome work!
I love the money stories and insecurities/challenges these people face. Awesome podcast, and the host is especially spectacular!
I LOVE this podcast. Similar to Reply All but is a bit short, and has its own genre that covers, and appeals to most. I guarantee youâll be able to relate to at least one episode of This is Uncomfortable.
The most recent episode about moving up the class speaks to me. I would love to see the list of all the social cues the girl (Wen-wen is her name?) talks about. Please publish that or add a clip of it in the future.
I look forward to each episode- the most recent âI have class anxietyâ episode put into words feelings Iâve had for decades.
After completely going through crime junkies I had to find a new podcast to be hooked on and I found it! I love this podcast. Iâve always been intrigued about how other people spend their $, so this is it. Can you do a podcast on a trust fund person?
I'm obsessed with talking about money. This show is just what I needed!!!
The engaged couple discussing how they came together financially even as they had different outlooks to begin with was so very worthwhile. It should be required listening for all couples before marriage. My husband and I have been married for 48 yrs. and it took us about 35 of them to come together and figure out how we viewed and responded to savings and debt differently. It truly makes for a more solid and easygoing relationship to understand this. I wish weâd known this about each other from the beginning. Please keep up the great work.
Went from talking about money to talking about abhorrent topics. Unsubscribed.
Candid, intimate, revealing, and informational. Thanks for putting this out!
Just discovered this podcast and I love it already. Short and sweet with fascinating and candid stories- absolutely love and highly recommend!
Iâve probably listened to seven episodes and find the podcast to be ok. Iâll probably listen to the entire 1st season. I must say that the episode with Ziwe Fumudoh was hilarious. This episode was so meta. The host asked her how it felt to be a minority even though sheâs a minority herself and Fumudoh called her on it, making the host of its uncomfortable feel, you guest it....uncomfortable. Lol!!
Absolutely wonderful!!!! Thank you so much for this podcast!!! I suddenly donât feel like Iâm alone in my thoughts about money and ways itâs affecting my world!! Genius!!!!
Looking forward to more!
There have been some really good episodes so far and some terrible episodes. Episode 6 was terrible. The guest was a terrible guest, not funny, and, to me, an elitist who played the âpoor meâ card. She went Phillips Exeter... donât complain about how difficult your life is.
