We are all looking for something to mark us. We share our good deeds, we wear Jesus and Coffee T-shirts, we have little fish bumper stickers on our cars and we talk about our children’s achievements.
But here's the truth:
The one thing that will TRULY mark you is not how many bible verses we can recite nor how great our kid is at sports or math. Instead, it is the way that we love one another, specifically in the same way that God has loved us.
Our hope with this episode is that it will be a reminder of the importance of being a friend, family member and spouse who shows up for the people in your life.
We will discuss:
1. Showing Up
2. Listening Without Talking
3. Keeping "Ourselves" Out of Their Pain
4. Challenging Gossip
5. Carrying One Another's Burdens
"Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ." Galatians 6:2.
