I really appreciate the diverse group of leaders invited to participate on the podcast. From political to technological to the arts, Iâve been able to learn things from every guest on the podcast. Well done, Carly!
The pod cast is so uplifting and positive. It serves as a reminder that leadership is optimistic and possibilities. As a leader it is important to have the reminder of the true leaders that are out there.
This podcast is teaching me and feeding my hunger for commentary from grounded, strong, engaging people of integrity and courage to break up the status quo. As someone who also has to fight status quo thinking in my own world, Iâm getting lots of inspiration from these powerful discussions. I never let a new podcast sit for more than a few minutes before Iâve plugged in and listened. Thank you, Carly!
More often than not, guests are great. Really appreciate talks with Gen. Powell, Jay Bilas, and Senator Dole. However, I really dislike the format. I donât mind the people that work for Carly, but when they interrupt the conversation with Carly to speak disrupts the flow and honestly makes it hard for me to keep listening.
How could anyone ever say life's too hard, or I can't do this after listening to this REAL American hero. Great job Carly, keep it up!
Carly Fiorina impressed me as a leader during the presidential campaign. I have listened to the first three podcasts. The content from Ms. Fiorina and her guests on leadership is fantastic and I heard many pearls from each podcast. The third podcast, however, had so many interruputions from the staff during the interview, about what was said during the interview, I lost interest in the interview. That is not a great format for me, but may work well for others. I just want to hear Carly and her guests.
Carly Fiorina destroyed peopleâs lives and got a golden parachute. People literally ended their lives in desperation thanks to her. She should not be in the iTunes podcast store.
Carly and Justin (Constantine) are so positive and inspirational. "We can choose what to fill our hearts with... We can fill our hearts with the people who lift us up" Carly and Justin are in my heart today. Wonderful examples of leaders who have overcome adversity while maintaining courage, gratitude, and compassion. "Lifting others up by example".
You will be hard pressed to find a better place to be moved so effortlessly. Plug and play
I was already a fan of Carley and this is exactly the podcast I need to fine tune skills for leading in my family, job and community. Each time I listen I come away inspired that even without position, power or title beyond mom, teacher and volunteer, I can lead and solve problems in my âcircle of influenceâ as Steven Covey wrote. I especially loved the tender and relatable Christmas message. Please keep the interviews and episodes coming!
I like the podcast but would like fewer interruptions by the producers. I am hear to listen to Carla and the featured guest not the producers. Letâs hear more from the guests. Thanks.
Enjoy Carlyâs interviews but dislike the interruptions by the staff during the interviews. Or put their dialogue at the end so the listener can choose whether or not to listen. I kept having to ff past their talking and then missed parts of interviews. If they keep this format, not sure if Iâll stay a subscriber.
Carly thoughtfully explores the characteristics that make up a successful leader, going far beyond the surface offering depth and insight. I agree with Carlyâs point that, âEverybody has more potential than they realize and that leaders are made, not born.â The trajectory to success is paved with hard work, collaboration and imagination, and striving toward an end, solution-oriented goal.
New follower ðð»ââï¸. As a mother, please I hope you include anecdotes from childhood. Would love for my daughters (ages 10 & 7) to listen to those moments in childhood that you can recall as significantâ-and have shaped you into the adult you are today. I have two very bright, kind and passionate young daughters. Leaders in the making, I know it would empower kids to hear you relate and discuss how you became who you are today. Props for the podcast!!! Listening in Texas Dora Cortez
Carly Fiorina shows a side of herself that some people may be surprised to learn about but those that have followed her career will be very familiar with. She is a humble and empathetic listener and expertly teases out some amazing leadership lessons from her guests. I highly recommend this podcast for anyone who is interested in listening to real conversations with some amazing people who have accomplished so much and changed the lives of those people who are lucky to be in their orbit.
"By example is not the best way to teach, its the only way." -Albert Einstein. I believe "teach" can be replaced with "lead" in that quote and mean the same thing. We lack political leadership because we too often vote for our favorite talkers instead doers. We need less Cable News hot takes and more in depth debates and actual votes taking place in our Congress. This podcast helps me identify what doers really sound like.
Great piece on a true American success story.
Carly reminds us that true leadership isnât about status, title, or position â but that the essence of leadership is unlocking potential in others. She offers us heartfelt conversations with people with inspiring stories, highlighting the power of that simple, humble idea.
I believe that our world and society Is starved for a new kind of leader and a new kind of leadership. One that comes from someone that stands to your right or your left, shoulder to shoulder with you and not above you and not the front of you. This podcast and Carlyâs teachings are a game-changer and an eye-opener for anyone looking to lead a family, a business, a cause or a movement. This should be required for everyone because it focuses on creating a community of people that know with every little act we make a difference and that living by example is the most powerful way transform others.
Carly Fiorina produces a great masterclass on leadership. Everyone has different leadership styles. Podcasts like Carlyâs allows us to hear great stories on character, purpose and focus combined with real-life examples of her guests helped me think of ways to advance, improve or adjust my own leadership abilities to focus on problem solving, finding solutions or challenging the status quo. No matter your industry type or career focus, worth the time to listen and learn to become a better leader.
Pleased that Carly has joined the podcast community. Her insight into leadership, politics, business, and everyday life is sure to become an instant hit.
These first few episodes and am excited for those to come. We need more leaders like Carly.
So excited to get to learn from Carly every day!
Especially enjoyed Colin Powellâs interview.2 comments- the lead in could be shorter and this interview was not easy to find. When I put in âBy Exampleâ Carlyâs interviews were not among the selections offered. I had to write in Carly and Colin.
It is more than just how to be a leader, but how to recognize people who are working hard, people with whom you should connect, the power of listening, and empowering others to problem-solve. I am really enjoying this podcast and look forward to more episodes!
This is what the US desparately needs at this time. A team gets on where without leaders. And in the process of leading, they motivate others to become leaders By Example.
Carly has clear succinct points and I appreciate hearing someone who stands for so many things that matter to me.
Carly Fiorina sitting down with Colin Powellis great but not a real surprise, but Carly Fiorina choppin it up with Baron Davis, wow! What a great initial line up!
Carly is a gem and the topic is a much-needed discussion.
As a high school student, Iâve only followed Carly Fiorina since 2015 during her presidential campaign, but since then Iâve always admired her poise and leadership. I am so excited to keep listening to this amazing podcast by an incredible leader who is one of my role models!
This is a welcomed series that the listener really gets an honest, inside look into what leadership actually is. I learned so much about Colin Powell as a person and about the role of a leader. I look forward to Carly sitting down with more leaders to remind folks what the true meaning of leadership really is.
Very inspiring! Thank you, Carly!
By Example is a breathe of fresh air from the usual podcasts. Excited to hear more from Carly and her guests!
Great insight into leadership and what truly defines a leader. I could not agree more than anyone has the ability to be a leader. We must focus on the soft skills needed to make a difference in the world. One of my favorite parts is that âthe people closest to the problem are best at solving themâ. Way to go! Love this.
Carly Fiorina has the best philosophy of leadership--the same one she's been spreading for years at university speaking tours, consulting, and her candidacy for president. Leadership is solving problems by unlocking the potential of others!
They hit the nail on the head - leadership is not about titles, itâs about people rolling up their sleeves and solving problems. Something we need more of. The best way to learn is by example - Iâm anxious to see who else is on the interview list.
This is a timely and fascinating contribution to discussions about leadership. The first few episodes are great and I look forward to listening to more.
Awesome podcasts! Insightful and informative. I will use the pointers and lessons learned in an attempt to integrate leadership into my life at the law office, courtroom, church, and home with my family. As always Carly is a class act in an age where so few exist.
Great to have a woman of strength sharing her voice on one of the greatest needs of our generation: leadership.
These podcasts are great. Carly Fiorniaâs voice is calm, strong, and vibrant. The examples are awesome and very insightful!
So great to hear from Carly and her team! Her life experience is one we all can take so much away from. Thanks for doing this and keep them coming!
Insightful, authentic, informative
This podcast is terrific! Carly offers a fresh and inspiring perspective that is so sorely needed in today's divided political climate. Current and future leaders alike will benefit greatly from the unique and diverse perspectives on leadership that Carly and her guests offer. The first three editions are fantastic. I can't wait to hear upcoming episodes!
Inspiring leader, speaking with other leaders to bring out the best in you! Carly makes it clear everyone has potential and is motivational with both her advice and practical recommendations. Not to mention the guests are superb, diverse and accomplished in their own right!
Iâm enjoying this new podcast by Carly Fiorina. She is thoughtful, engaging, and inspiring. Iâm looking forward to new episodes, and I highly recommend if you are looking for motivating stories about exceptional leaders!
Itâs awesome to hear what Carly is working on these days. And her guests so far have been super interesting! Looking forward to future episodes!
