Dr. Madrid discusses whether or not Alcohol is safe to drink and if so, what is the maximum amount and what supplements can help protect the liver?
Serving Sizes of alcohol:
-12 ounces of typical beer, which is usually between 4.5 to 5.5 % alcohol.
- 5 ounces of wine, which is typically between 11-13% alcohol.
-1.5 ounces of distilled spirits (Tequila, Vodka, Rum, Whiskey, etc) which is about 40% alcohol or 80 proof.
