This Is hysterical amazing amazing amazing this podcast is so funny impala is hysterical I listen to every one of these podcasts and sometimes I listen to them twice. They are always so funny and as a kid listening to this well⦠itâs just funny and I think all ages can listen to this podcast itâs just so funny! (Oh...also Adam Felber is on every show.)
Great show, really funny and entertaining.
The language is unnecessary, but the whole show is hilarious!
I was recently diagnosed with anxiety when this podcast came out. This podcasts is the first thing I listen to when anxious. I listened to the Paula Poundstone Institute podcast and was so sad it ended. THIS podcast brings joy to the start of my week. Iâm from a city north of Boston. New England loves you Paula!!
I absolutely love this podcast. I'd listen to it if it was on every day, at least for a while. They should try to do a longer show. Paula Poundstone is awesome and I learn something from her whenever she speaks.
I can tell it's funny because I sometimes have to pause it enough to calm down at work. Adam Felber is on every show, there is a proclamation of the "Cat of the Week," (that I can't start my week without hearing) and Thomas Coyne has yet to be found. It's a marvelous "family" of fun.
I look forward to my 5:30am drive to work once a week when I know thereâs a new episode of âNobody listens to . . .â I get up at 4:30am & Paula Poundstone is the only one that can get me out of my miserable mood! And Adam Felber is there too!
Paula has always been consistent in her comedy. I found her years ago as a kid watching late night comedy because I was a night owl and Iâd laugh so hard and get scared of waking up my parents. She doesnât even have to try, sheâs just funny. Her cohost is nearly hurtful and she takes it and lightens it up. Paula doesnât take the insults hard, she takes it all so light and makes it fun. Even when sheâs taken a turn into politics, she doesnât go so far to insult any one side. Example: She mentioned President Trump has a small vocabulary (true) and then turned into how that reminded her of having her own small vocabulary and how sheâs going to extend that vocabulary with big words. This one word she used is probably one that people rarely use. But you know, extend that vocab! Lol The subjects keep going and her cohost will mention how her newest idea doesnât make any sense to accomplish. She will go in to how it does work but throw in other jokes. Imagine a fun morning radio show you donât want to miss out on as you drive to work, just hoping traffic holds you back long enough to hear all the jokes. At least you can pause and play later.
What am I going to do on my plane trip now that Iâve caught up every podcast episode? Be aware that this show will make you laugh out loud on the plane while your row mates question why you are laughing without control. Thatâs when you tell them you have been listening to âNobodyâ. Paula - this is a better scenario for how you gain more ânobodiesâ.
So happy to finally learn how to behave when confronted with a pesky bear. Excellent podcast. I love every episode.
Paula Poundstone is always amusing! Never disappoints. I mean never. Over so many years and different venues. Off the cuff funny!
Thank you so much for your time making daily things funny and just unique music guests to get your show more a wonder who this time anticipation. Loving all the shows. Keep them coming.
Hilarious as ever!
Love everything excerpt the laugh track. Her laughter is annoying. You both are funny and entertaining. We do not need a laugh in the background to inform us when to laugh. Paula, you are fantastic. Your sidekick old whatâs his name is a nice compliment.
I love Paula Poundstone! I love her storytelling! I love listening to what Paul has to say!If Adam would only shut up and let Paula talk maybe somebody could listen to Paula
I really love listening to this podcast on my commute. Adam Felber is at the top of his game, at times reining in the other podcast participants and at times letting it play out to maximize the laughs. I have laughed a lot because of this show. I enjoy the variety of the guests, the diversity of the house bands, and the camaraderie that all the people in the tiny Ray Horseman Studio seem to have. It feels like hanging out with some very funny good friends.
I love this show. It is madcap at its best. Got to listen for all the gems being thrown at you by Paula Poundstone and her delightful sidekick or cohost, Adam Ferber, who joins her and tries to talk reason in a room full of hilarity, misinformation and more.
I am a huge Paula fan. On WAIT, Wait, The PPI, and now this. Whatâs so great, as opposed to Wait, Wait, is she is on EVERY show!!! I donât have to hope when people are introduced, I already know sheâll be there. The other reason I anticipate the release of this show at the beginning of every week? Adam. He is a genius!!! He keeps Paula, a wonderful comedian with a propensity to wander on bunny trails, in line better than anyone. He asks probing and important questions of guests. He adds his own style of comedy. An appearance on every show by Paula and the genius of Adam make this a much listen podcast.
Paula brings joy to these turbulent times. Fantastic talent!
Ok so Iâve loved Paula Poundstone since the 90s when Iâd sneak watch stand up after my parents went to bed, so I figured Iâd love this podcast. Honestly out of the gate I wasnât sold. But by the third episode I became a ânobodyâ â a definite fan. If you love Paula or Adam on Wait Wait, this takes it to the next level. The guests are informative (when they have time to talk) and it is worth listening for the background music (which changes episodically) alone. When movie sequels come out, Paula and Adam watch the originals â their review of Pretty Woman is must hear radio. Anyway theyâre more amusing than I am so listen to the podcast and better your life â and your table tennis game.
Been a fan of Paula on Wait Wait for a while and I kept hearing Peter plug the podcast so I finally started listening. What a fun show! The banter between her and Adam is great and the guests are always interesting. Keep it up!
My new fave. Paula is hilarious, love the revolving House Band. Plus, Adam is on the show....and its a good thing! The guests would never get a word in otherwise! He's the glue.
This soft, tripoly podcast gives some useful information, but mostly it fills the void that is left when Paula isnât on Wait, Wait. And Adam *is* on every show!
Paula is hilarious and has great chemistry with Adam. Laugh a lot, learn a lot. Thereâs a person whoâs always laughing in the background: sheâs my favorite part.
I gladly listen to Paula Poundstone's witty banter for hours on end. And, so far as I can tell, the hype is trueââAdam is on every show.
Adam is on every show
greatest podcast so far
Paula offers a soft tri-poly blend t-shirt
If you like comedy, learning, and mystery( where is Toms Coyne?)this is the show for you. I look forward to this show every Monday! I love Paula and Adamâs banter. I have learned so much... from driving Uber to not getting a lower back tattoo but if I did also the care of the tattoo. Wow entertaining and educational. Not to mention the world wide search for a survivalist. Sometimes I think Adam is not going be there next time after this conversation but he is on every show! Keep up the good work!!!
Great show and even better background noises. Captain crinkle adds good sound effects that make Adam Felber mad. If itâs the same person that laughs at every joke then she makes the show! I think Paula is on every show. By the way, Thomas Coin is not at the Dunkinâ Donuts in Bloomsburg Pennsylvania.
Pula is my favorite wait wait panelist, the show should be two times a week! .i canât stop listening to this podcast ;) ðððððððððððððððððððððððððððððððððððððððððððððððððððððððððð
Paula is witty and funny. Adam is on every show.
Listening to Adam try to keep Paula on track like, well, hearding cats (Paula has 14 cats), is hysterically funny. The guests are great, and I do actually learn something from every show, even if it is only that you shouldn't ask someone to play the bagpipes indoors. This podcast is the best part of my commute!
So much fun; there is a cat of the week EACH week!
Are they the Elaine May and Mike Nichols of our day? I would love to see these two take on Doctors. I love this podcast.
She is a genius! Her advice is life-changing. Adam is on every show. And the tri-poly blend shirt is super soft.
This is one of my favorite podcasts because Paula is one of my favorite comedians.
Paula is a phenomenal stand up comedian. But she is killing it with this podcast. Listen to the most recent show, but you need to go back and listen to all the previous shows as well. There are a lot of inside jokes and history that you need to know. Like, is Adam really on every show?
I donât listen to Paula Poundstone so how am I expected to review this alleged podcast? I know nothing of the incredibly soft tri-poly blend tee shirts although I am a fan of left breasts which the shirt allegedly highlights. And the comings and goings, or demise of, Thomas Coyne, whom Iâve not seen at Stumpknockers Restaurant on the Withlacoochie River, interests me not one whit. Nonetheless, I find it inspirational that after leading my own long and empty life, Adam Felber maintains perfect attendance, even while carrying dread diseases into the studio. Thanks, Adam, because of your shining example, I shall carry on, hopelessly, but doggedly!Yours in despair,Rich Evans
Paula Poundstone is a comedic genius. And also, there is Adam. He is on every show.
If I had to describe the perfect podcast, itâd be one that makes me laugh and learn something. Adam and Paula do an excellent job of covering interesting topics while keeping it lighthearted with absurd humor.
Great show. Canât describe why. Adam is on every episode.
I found out about this on wait wait donât tell meI love listening to it every weekIt is hillarious
Sometimes you make me laugh out loud, which is embarrassing when I'm walking and exercising outside. Adam is there also. I hope you choose a theme song soon...so exciting. The movie reviews are a bit too long.
True co-hosts Adam and Paula have a great rapport. Both are equally funny and quick witted. Adam does a great job steering Paula away from ranting too much when she gets in one of her spirals. My only issue is that there is a woman in the studio audience/background that laughs so loudly and obnoxiously that to me it seems insincere often and I can no longer listen to the podcast, which is a shame because I otherwise enjoyed it. Seems like sheâs laughing so she can hear herself when she listens back on the podcast. Adam and Paula are funny, but not as constantly laugh out loud hilarious as this one woman is trying to portray.
I love Paula and Adam! They have amazing chemistry, great bits, and the infighting cracks me up! HOWEVER, do me a favor and start referring to âprostitutesâ and such as âsex workersâ (re: pretty woman). Itâs important. Thank you!
Stop looking and start downloading- Paula and Adam are the funniest, most original content creators out there. This is my favorite podcast by a long shot and everyone should give it a listen!
Paula is funny as a quiz show panelists, but this makes me want to grind my teeth.
Yes, Iâm one the 6 who actually listen to you & Adam..... and I recently told a friend, so now you have 7 loyal fans. You truly are comic geniuses. I have tried other podcasts but nothing compares to this! I love the guests, house bands and Bonnieâs laughter in the background. Being a retired teacher, I appreciate Paulaâs topic summary - well done! NLTPP is a hilarious, thought provoking, uplifting show!THANK YOU!
