This podcast is amazing! I listen every morning while Iâm getting ready and love all the points you make. You talk about every nerd thing I love itâs so amazing Iâm in love. My house is either Ravenclaw or Slytherin, every time I take a quiz it says either one of them and then one day I took the pottermore test and got gryffindor, which I feel I donât belong to at all! I feel like I relate to Slytherin the most but all of my merch is Slytherin. I donât know what to do and I need help figuring it out. Can you help me? Love both your channels and the podcast! Harry Potter

My Harry Potter story starts similarly to Jeremyâs story (which was the Ravenclaw Riddle from the Shrek episode), with a big, devastating, unfamiliar move. I was a young, innocent 11-year-old, just out of fifth grade. My brother had read Harry Potter the year prior, and was trying to convince to me read it as well. I stupidly refused over and over.And then the move happened. I was stuck in an unfamiliar place with unfamiliar people, and the school year was approaching quicker than I wanted it to, and, to be honest, I was really scared. I had grown up going to school with the same people, year after year. So far, I hadnât made any friends on the swim team (I swim because I donât like any other sports), nor did I make friends with any of my neighbors or other people outside of the swim team.So, my brother finally convinced my sister, my mother, and me to start reading Harry Potter together. At first, my mother read the books to us (although she only needed to for my sisterâs sakeâ I was perfectly capable of reading on my own), and read the first three books over most of the school year, and after reading Prisoner of Azkaban, I went free and read the rest of the books all by my lonesome.While I hadnât made any friends in real life, I made connections with the wonderful characters that I knew and loved in Harry Potter. I related to Harryâs feeling like an outsider, Hermioneâs genius ideas (and S.P.E.W, of COURSE!), and Ronâs overall awkwardness. But more than that, I loved Luna (and still do). She was an outsider, slightly crazy, but also really smart at the same time, and I related to that.Harry Potter changed my life. It gave me friends when I had nobody else. It gave me hope and shone through my devastation of having no other friends. But most of all, the emotion in the words inspired me to become an author as well. Now I can channel that emotion into my own writing (and JK Rowling is one of my personal role models, OF COURSE!).And, as I have hinted at, I am a PROUD Ravenclaw. However, I started out thinking I was a Hufflepuff like my brother. When I first took the Pottermore sorting quiz, I actually was sorted into Hufflepuff. But after reading all of Harry Potter, my status as Hufflepuff felt. . . not right. So, I created another Pottermore account and retook the quiz, and, no surprise, I am a Ravenclaw. Now I am a FIERCE Potterhead, and (yay!) Iâve actually been to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Hollywood (although Iâve heard that the Orlando one is superior), and I actually showed emotion! Usually, I hold a pretty good poker face, but when my parents told us we were going, I cried, and when we got there, I cried again. Thatâs slightly unrelated to my original story, but I found it pretty relevant.And now, Tessa and Brizzy, Iâm so glad that my brother introduced to me to both your YouTube channels and this podcast, that combines the fandoms of Disney/Pixar, Marvel, Harry Potter, and so much more! And it all makes me so HAPPY to be a part of the fandom love.Also, since youâve both read Harry Potter and the Hunger Games, you guys NEED to read The Unwanteds, which is pretty much a perfect mix between HP and the Hunger Games, and an overall amazing book series. Iâve read all of the Unwanteds books (including Unwanteds Quests, which is basically the Cursed Child of the Unwanteds, but so much better).Thank you for reading, and I hope you enjoyed my sad/happy/emotional Harry Potter story. You guys continue to inspire me (and my brother) and PLEASE READ THE UNWANTEDS because all fandoms need the love!

I love your podcast so much!! Some of my friends think Iâm a âmomâ for listening to podcasts but I donât care because I love your podcast. On YouTube you both really inspire me because there arenât many people in my school as geeky as I am. Itâs really comforting to know that itâs okay to geek out about what I like. I listen to your podcast when Iâm on the bus, doing my homework or anytime I can find a reason, just because I love it so much! Itâs so interesting to hear new fan theories and to hear that people agree with mine. I love listening to your predictions for The Crimes of Grindelwald again after Iâve seen the movie. Sometimes I feel like I donât have any geeky friends and this podcast reminds me that there is a whole community of geeks out there. By the way Iâve always wanted a dragon as a pet.

Hi my names Sydnee, my friends call me squid! I used to be a Slytherin until recently when I retook the pottermore quiz and discovered I was a Hufflepuff. I was confused at first but once I read the description of a Hufflepuff it all made sense. So Iâm Hufflepuff and horned serpent proud! I highly recommended this podcast to any fangirl or fanboy, I listen to it all the time whether Iâm on the bus or cleaning my room (which is often as I am a very unorganized person).
