canât wait for Leo to come on the show !!
I look forward to this podcast every Monday! Well done Brooks.
All I do while Iâm at work is listen to podcasts, and this is one the most entertaining podcasts Iâve found. Brooks is a great host and always has such interesting and hilarious guests. I always recommend it to friends and family!
Bring on DiCaprio babaaayyyy!!
This podcast is for people whoâve gotten drunk on beer stolen from Hy-Vee.
Every time Iâm in the car for over an hour with my mom she always (without fail) asks if we can listen to âthat funny podcast about the jobsâ she thinks that Brooks is hilarious and I do too. 10/10 love this podcast.
This is a great podcast with a great variety of guests and hilarious stories that have me laughing out loud at work. Whenever anyone asks me for podcast recommendations this is the first one I throw their way.
Brooks needs 1000 reviews PPL!!!! Not to mention this is an awesome podcast! Give it a listen.
This is a great podcast. The stories people have about their first jobs are hilarious.
Taking a break from puddying at my job to write this important review. This podcast keeps me a little more alive inside even when I probably look dead to the world on the outside. The only downside is that I think I think I've started to be more Iowan. I'm from the big city (Des Moines), so aside from "pop" I think I've adjusted to life on the east coast. But now with Brooks' rat-trash townie influence, I've started using the phrase "alls I'm sayin" and I'm looking forward to going to red lobster for my birthday. Small price to pay though. Great podcast!
Iâm super happy Bert had you on his podcast so I could discover this amazing podcast
Brooks is hilarious! These episodes have me rolling
One of my favorite podcasts Iâve found recently, Brooks is hilarious, he and his guests have great stories about first jobs youâll enjoy.
Love this podcast, it gets me through the workday!
Believe me, headphones are necessary to enjoy this at work but it makes me day fly by. Very funny and entertaining podcast to listen to throughout the day and in the car as well to make you reminisce on your early days in the workforce! Keep the new episodes coming please!!
Iâm a full time musician bc of this podcast. Also not murdered because of it. Itâs a long story.
This podcast is funny and relatable. Unlike other reviews I highly recommend listening to this while at work. Nothing makes my day go by faster than listening to stories about people at work not working! The episode library is expansive and the guest selection is great. Highly recommend. 150 to DiCaprio.
Commenting for Leo
A somewhat entertaining podcast. The idea is good but the guests are kind of weak. And brooks interrupts every interview to tell his own stories. It doesnât make for a good conversation/interview
We make 49 cents on the dollar now - we probably have great horrible job stories.
Like you more than the shoes. Stay golden
Funny stories you can relate to as an entry level employee
Almost everyone has interesting and funny stories from their first few jobs. I find this âcast highly entertaining
Iâm convinced that Brooks and I would be really good friends. Long live comedy and professional wrestling.
This is one of the funniest podcast I have ever listened to!! Hilarious host, awesome guests and just down right amazing. You have to listen to this podcast if you have ever worked an entry level job in your life.
How many more reviews until we get Leo?
a great listen.
Kinda as a fellow Dubuque ânativeâ his stories are hilarious. Itâs great to know that everyone is awful at their first jobs. And Iâm pretty sure the one day Brooks worked at target he worked with my dad. Iâm probably biased but this podcast is one of my faves. And Iâm glad I never missed out on never going to the caves.
This podcast is great. The best part is the cave talk. A+ podcast highly recommended.
I really like this podcast! I think itâs a really interesting subject and for the most part brooks does a really good job. However... thereâs a couple things that I think could be better; 1. I could really do without Mike Burns during the intro. Heâs kind of annoying and it seems like heâs only there to promote his own podcast. 2. Brooks really likes to inject his personal experiences in to every single interview. I hate that and I wish he wouldnât do it. Itâs pretty much the same stories every episode too. Four stars.
The funniest people who had the dumbest jobs. Or were just dumb at their normal jobs. This is great.
Do you have any entry level podcast merch? Possibly a coffee cup of some sort?
I listened to this podcast for advice on how to move up from my entry level job. The show is incredibly educational and offers tons of useful, practical life advice. The calm, easy-going pace is very soothing, and it never makes me laugh at innapropriate times in my daily life, unlike some podcasts. The host is a bit serious, but condsidering the topic I guess that's okay. I followed the advice to the letter, and now I'm up for promotion! Amazing! Where would I be without this strictly educational podcast? Thanks, Brooks.
Caves, mugs, and Papa Johnâs. What else could you ask for?
Make boring jobs better - listen to this pod while you work. So awesome!
One word. Mugs!
I listen to this podcast while doing most of the things they talk about because I still donât care about my workplace, so it cracks me up! Very relatable and hilarious. Sometimes Iâm cracking up and a coworker 50 feet away glances over thinking Iâm crazy ehhh WORTH IT!
This podcast provides a beacon of light during my Monday morning commute. 5 stars out of 5. Would listen again. A++++
This frickin podcast is hilarious Iâve never seen Brooks do standup or even remember him on SNL but who cares!I heard him on another podcast and he was super funny - he mentioned this one and thought the concept sounded funnyAnd it is! For everybody whose ever had a crappy job- and thatâs gotta b most - or not or whateverCheck it! Your job might b but this podcast never disappointsThank you Brooks and The Cave! ;p
Great hearing how people have struggled through the years & how they got to where they are. There is a definite lack of talk about caves though. Iâm an EMT in Barrington, Illinois and when Brooks brings it up He glazes over what he actually did there. Needs more Barrington talk!
You are a big inspiration for me to become a comedian that performs live, I am 26 and have always felt kinda of out of place, I perform at open mics in bars, and other interesting places, I'm sure I have a good half hour of material in my one year of pursuing this, but you should know, until I really performed good and got a few laughs, I didn't know I had been missing the performance from my life, and with your podcast and youtube show, you now inspire so many more to embrace their funnier sides. Thanks!
They've got a mug. They've got tangents about the mug. There's a lot of talk about a cave. It's great. Listen to it.
As an elected Republican official I listen to this podcast to justify my belief that the minimum wage should be much, much lower
Wish I had a job, but I guess listening to this is close enough. Midwest love
Easily my favorite podcast! I love Brooks' comedy album and was excited to see that he started doing a podcast. Super funny, great guests, valuable information about caves and mugs. A+
Absolutely love this podcast. Both fun and funny to hear people recount their entry level jobs and shenanigans interspersed with Brooks laughs and stories.
Brooks is hilarious- this concept inevitable leads to amazing stories from the guest and Brooks
