New format

I enjoyed the old format better. The addition of Larry makes this feel stilted and not conversational like it used to be.

Facing your fear

by Joudie w on
Rating: ★★★★☆

I have enjoyed listening to the podcast for the last couple of months. But this episode spoke to me more than any other, the advice was so powerful to me. When she said you must speak your fear just hit me and helped me to focus and not play small. Thank you for the encouragement and I really look forward to your show each week.

I knew about Michael Hyatt over a year now. Not until end of December 2018 I needed to review my years work. I didn’t complete my review because I got busy again, but I did start my FFP. I have been so excited about this product because it has given me a sense of control to do what I want most. Along with the Lead to win podcast it is changing the way I live my life. Thanks!

One of my favorite and most informative podcasts

by Brewster27 on
Rating: ★★★★★

I look forward to this podcast every week. The information is so timely and is presented in a format that makes it easy remember and apply. Michael and Megan hit the nail on the head time and time again. If all businesses would apply just some of these principles, we all would be positively affected because business is more effective and friendly to all when these principles are put into place.

This podcast makes me a winner!

I love the candor between this father-daughter combo. The conversation is well planned, real and direct. I recently purchased their product, Full Focus Planner, and I was impressed. Still in my first quarter of implementation, and having sustained success. The information they provide as coaches, business owners and executives is applicable from the C-Suite as well as the people that support them. I love what I learn with them and excited for more! Drawback, I think it takes away from Megan’s authority when she refers to Michael as “Dad.” Even though these leaders are family, this is no small show. These are capable leaders learning and leading in their own rite. Request: more guests! Love the MH&Co team contributions.

I discovered Lead to Win about a year ago and I’ve almost listened to every episode going back to the beginning. The content has broad appeal. I’m a pastor, so not in the world of business. But I resonate with growing as a servant-leader and principles for self-growth and community growth. Episodes on vision making have been particularly helpful. Thank you for providing this excellent content.

My Daily Inspiration

As a social person doing full time creative work in my own business, I spend a lot of time working on my computer alone. I struggle to get focused and motivated, because I have to do it for myself, instead of having coworkers and bosses to give me social motivation. Listening to this podcast helps me to feel like I’m having a meeting with Michael and Megan every morning! It’s super helpful to me in getting motivated in the morning when all I want to do is go back to bed. I really appreciate Michael, not only as a successful business man, but also as a father, Christian, and humble man. I appreciate his attitude and how he connects his faith when appropriate. Thanks Michael and Megan!

Something for everyone here!

I am so glad I gave this podcast a try before I read the first few reviews! I am a university professor who stumbled on this content and I am finding the podcasts to be thoughtful and thought-provoking. Yes, it’s true that it seems a bit scripted, but that also means someone made the effort to think about what to include (and what to leave out) of each episode. That means this podcast is chock full of useful information backed up with solid evidence. There is also some room for off-script commentary—to me it felt like the perfect balance. I’ve subscribed and will eagerly watch my feed for new episodes!

A GREAT Primer on Journaling!

Following a very traumatic experience in my family, I’ve been exploring the therapeutic possibilities of journaling. Several people in my community are interested in this topic too. For a long time, I’ve been following Michael Hyatt. I really appreciate his integrity and thoroughness. His take on this topic was very enlightening. If you want to learn more about journaling, this episode is a GREAT primer. But if you prefer reading to listening, there’s a Transcript available too.Sharing this podcast with my community was a no-brainer. The content is great. Thanks!

Thankful for refreshing but meaningful content!

by Indianatones on
Rating: ★★★★★

I learned of Michael Hyatt only a year or so ago. Yes, I have been focused in my own world for a couple of decades and also so over committed that there has been ZERO margin. After reading some MH material, digging into FFP, reading a couple of books and refocusing, guess what!!?? I have made adjustments and, while still working hard and focused (probably more than ever) on my business..... I actually “have” time to listen to podcasts here and there. This is currently one of my very favorite. Excellent content that is relevant to me as a husband, dad, Christian, community member and business owner. See.... I ALMOST put business owner first on the list. Well, I did, but I MOVED it. Because I CAN! :)) Thanks for all the insight MH and team!

Great podcast but ....

Michael is a great communicator. He is clear and practical. I like Meghan too. The podcasts are well structured and get to the point while still being conversational. I must say that the openings with the music and script is cheesy to the point of embarrassing. I always fast forward through it.At any rate, I am grateful to have learned a lot from these podcasts.

I also just bought the full-focus planner - so excited to try it out!

I’ve learned so much and gained awesome insights listening to this podcast. It’s fun but also straight to the point. Don’t have to listen for 10 minutes of non-sense and inside jokes before getting to the subject material. I highly recommend! Rating: ★★☆☆☆

I have listened to MH for a long time, but the new format seems to be striving for high production values without the consistent depth of contact to offset the increasingly promenent promotion of MH products. What really put me over the edge though, was Michael's twitter account liking a Trump attack on the media. Donald Trump is the antithesis of what MH has promoted and to see him like one of Trump's anti-media rants regarding the recent bombings is at best very poorly considered, but concerns me that MH does not truly have the underlying character he portrays. I hope this is a momentary lapse that he will correct and explain. I will not support those who publicly support Trumps dishonesty and divisive rhetoric. I would have provided direct message feedback to the twitter account but it does not accept private messages.

Lead To Win: Focused, Useful, and Real Personal Development and Productivity Strategy

by mconjet on
Rating: ★★★★★

Wonderful weekly podcast hosted by Michael Hyatt and Megan Hyatt Miller. The topics covered are consistently well-organized and prepared. Without fail I come away with at least 2 or 3 practical actions to apply after each listen. This “self-help” genre podcast is most certainly not a self-aggrandizement exercise like so many others. Michael and Megan evidence suitable humility as they describe their own life examples illustrating the concepts being covered. Regularly listening to this podcast, reading MH’s book “Best Year Ever” and using his “Full Focus Planner” have been transformational to my career performance and life.

Glad but unfulfilled

by HockeyJack12 on

Big fan, Long time, etc. So glad when this came back. But it doesnt deliver as all your past podcasts have. Its over produced, it often seems angled towards your products and Megan has a great voice, but She should have her own podcast on much of the new content. Michael you were great working off of and with other cohosts, not so much with your family. I will continue to listen and hope for a change of opinion and do wish you much much more success - you have been amazingly helpful to me and so many others. Not every rocker has a great album every release, but the great ones will continue to deliver the music.
