Lots of haters on this review list. If youâre perfect and canât forgive, move on. But for those who recognize people fail, sometimes catastrophically, and believe in some measure of redemption, stick around. This is a great podcast. Especially when Hincapié or another former pro joins in. The insights are great and it really complements the network broadcast commentary. With Paul Sherwin regrettably gone, this may prove even more relevant.
Always has something interesting and insightful to share. Those who still harbor negative perspectives need to just identify the rider they think should have been awarded the titles Lance was stripped of. Doping was so pervasive, benefiting the owners of the TdF, the sponsors, the bike industry and the domestiques, that youâll have a very tough time finding a rider who didnât dope and who could have had a reasonable chance of beating Lance with both or neither doping. You wonât find one.
My favorite parts of this show are when the real Lance comes out. When he disagrees or questions a âmoveâ. Keep it up guys, great show.
What a giant D-bag. Heâs even worse than I thought
This is a pretty dope podcast about cycling!!
Lance came clean and I respect the honesty. He has a lot of really cool things to say and brings in a lot of really cool guests. He is genuine and to the point. His other podcast The Forward is also very interesting. Lance brings a new perspective to the table that I really enjoy. He has acknowledged his wrongs and learned from them, he still strives to be better. I respect that immensely. If you disagree with him and what he has done, I would suggest taking the log out of your own eye and enjoying hearing his opinion. Lot of life experience from this guy. Much Respectð¤ð¼
TV commentating is getting old. I want behind the scenes, honest commentary. Lance doesnât sugarcoat anything, and thereâs lots of interviews. Sure, heâs kind of a jerk and he doped. But no American knows more about what itâs like to be in the pro peloton, especially come July.
I have been listening to the Move since day 1 . The Bob Roll episode is the best! I never met Paul Sherwen but I felt like I knew him as I listened to him for over 20 years.. First class episode with Great reminiscing of the past.
Iâve listened to this podcast from the beginning and this particular episode is my favorite. Lance has become an excellent interviewer.
Keep up Lance, fluffy the haters, they give one star but only after listening to you, awesome.
No matter what this guy is the GOAT. I respect his attitude. His loyalty. Iâm guessing if you in his corner he will bash heads to protect you but if you are against him then can be ruthless. The fact he admitted to his faults. Has paid his price. While everyone else who was doing the same protocol in cycling who still hides behind their skirts. This puts me in his Corner. Take a listen.
Lance offers some great inisghts on cycling and, well, a lot of LANCE on this show. Good stuff!
This podcast is terrific. Keep it up Lance!
Really enjoy this Podcast since the inception (stages). It is funny and full of insights on Lance and George Hincapié at times. Their banter is hilarious. JB does a great job keeping things flowing. Highly recommend.
Hey, if you don't like Lance, you are probably not going to like this podcast. So don't listen to it and stop writing bad reviews of it. It's a really good podcast, especially if you like Lance and appreciate his perspective. Lots of good info, fun guests, a nice casual listen.
You boys are kickinâ it. Lance is a natural with the interviews and clearly learned something from Howard Stern.
Lance, JB and George do a fantastic job of recounting the days events. Thanks for doing what you do.
A little scattered but a real view from the guys who were there and lived it. Eff the politics of your doping opinion. Everyone doped. Let bygones be bygones. Enjoy the the viewpoint of the cyclists who lived the experience. A unique commentary
I love the format and easy going style of the hosts, no fake music or fades just uncut fun and conversation between friends. Great for the novice or advance cyclist.
Thanks for the awesome content and commentary
this is a great podcast. Lance and his Texas sized attitude is great and provides a unique look into the peloton. And B-Fast with Bos is the best, absolutely love the bonus daily interview between 2 friends.
Excellent podcast. I enjoy hearing the insightful information and the friendly âbanterâ between the guys as they discuss the topic of the day.
Lance is a natural. If the wider world would stop treating him like a pariah he could certainly be a media star.
Lance and JB do a great job! Revealing many sides to the sport that most do not know or appreciate. Very insightful and candid. And the guests are terrific too! Love it!
I gave it a shot. I wanted to like it, I was an Armstrong fan in his hay day... but the arrogance, lack of remorse, and lack of empathy are just too much to bare. I turned off the episode after 5 min.
Lance & George are the perfect odd couple! One is Cranky, one is nice and JB is the perfect referee. This is informative and entertaining. It has made the 2018 Tour exceptional.
So good! I like this podcast almost more than watching the actual race
I really enjoyed todayâs recap of Stage 13. George and Lance had me belly laughing over their quips and impersonations. The insider views on the race are poignant and funny all in one. The laughs today were well needed as I sat in an infusion chair at Stanford today, getting treatment for a rare disease. (Getting better and hope to be back in my bike soon!) Thanks for the belly laughs guys and âLetâs make party,â of course with the safety of a helmet!!
George and Lance are like an old married couple busting chops.Hilarious.
This is the best podcast for pro cycling. If you want to know what is really happening in the Peloton, Lance and JB will tell All!
Iâm a novice 50 year old cyclist - really enjoying this show - great interaction between the hosts and always learning new things - great job!
The Move is the best cycling podcast! Informative and entertaining for all! Lance and JB have great chemistry.
Overall really great guys. Iâm all in so accept this in the spirit in which it is offered. Too much jacking around and talking about things other than the race. A little goes a long way. You both mispronounce names. Got it. A little more substance would make this podcast perfect.
Great analysis from a dude (LA) and his partner (GH), and JB as host, who really did some scummy things. It was the sport then, but despite the TDFâs sickness still a great race.
There are better podcasts
I really enjoyed this podcast last year (2017) during Le Tour; this year not so much. It seems that Lance, having settled his legal liabilities, is now free to monetize everything without fear of losing it all- and he is doing so aggressively. I still enjoy Lanceâs take on things, but the show is mostly commercials now. I do not blame anybody for making a buck, but in this case it does make the podcast choppier and less enjoyable.
Love your unbiased opinion on all things. Nice to finally hear honest opinions. Your shows on the Tour de France are terrific. Keep up the great work!
Love that Lance is back!
Stages was fantastic. I recommended it to all my friends. I understand the need to make money from your work, but promoting sponsors, memberships, events, and merchandise is starting to take over too much of the broadcast since the change to TheMove. The best parts of the show are the insights on the stage, the racers, and the course, along with storytelling from the glory years.
Seriously. Listen to it. You will learn so much about what is going on in the peloton. I donât care how experienced you are in the saddle. Thereâs way more to know, and Lance knows it. Makes the Tour sooo much more interesting!
2 ð THUMBS UP ð
Thereâs no better place to get the behind-the-scenes insider take on all that Le Tour has to offer. Lance gets after it, as always. A Great Show!!!
Have you ever sat in a briefing or a training class where the âAgenda Slideâ takes up most of the time? Lance breaking down the race and each stage is really great and Iâd listen to that all day. Unfortunately, thatâs only about 25% of the content. Most of the podcast is the hosts talking about the podcast. Way too much time spent explaining the setup, the purpose, the sponsors, what theyâll get to later, etc. Itâs unfortunate since the 2017 series was just about perfect.
Great perspective on the races. So cool to have the insight Lance, George Hincapie and others provide. Must listen for all cycling fans.
Hi,Love this podcast!!! JB is great and Lance is hysterical and super informative. Would be awesome to have some more Ex pros from Lanceâs years on the show. Jens Voight would be awesome! Love that George is on this weekend. Thanks so much for making July that much better! Love the showJS
You will be listening to one of the best riders of that era talking about riding in the tour, knowledge that very few American athletes have. The show itself is interesting to listen too. Keep it up, make sure the ads don't take up lore than 25% of the show. Thank you!
Donât give this destroyer of lives your money by listening to this podcast.
I understand the need for advertising money to support production of the podcast, but spending the first 10 minutes of a 26 minute episode talking about products and membership perks is a waste of time. I listen as I drive home so itâs hard to skip through the ads. Would appreciate if ads could be kept to first 5 minutes at most like many podcasts and then get straight to the point about talking about the race for the day. Love the content and support the podcast, just feel that the ad time distribution is too overweighted at the moment. Thanks.
Interesting insight into racing from a former pro. Understandably there are bills to pay but they have gone overboard with the ads in the second season. Why does Lance always have someplace more important to be at the end when JB has listener questions? Overall worth a listen, best to listen to this alongside the âThe Cycling Podcast - Raphaâ which is done by journalists.
Became a cycling fan during Lance's time on the bike dominating. Love the podcast. After catching a few stages in person 2017 TDF - it puts it all in perspective. The analysis is there, the commentary is excellent. It seriously feels like you are in the studio with Lance and JB. Keep it coming Lance & JB. It's one of the best parts of the Tour.
