Eric Davis is a dad of 4, ranging from 9 to 23 years old.
Eric’s a former Navy SEAL sniper instructor and an author of “Raising Men - What we learned in SEAL training and taught to our sons”
He has taken the proven performance principles leveraged by elite units and repurposed them for entrepreneurs, business leaders and parents since 2008. He’s a founder of ericdavis215.com – an online resource focused on delivering the situational awareness, transparency and knowledge people require to live a good life and lead others to do the same.
In addition to lessons from Navy SEAL program, we’re talking about:
- How no one’s born a dad. Importance of personal development, being in training and becoming a better self so we could lead other do the same.
- How most of us know exactly what to do, but get stuck on the “how to”.
- Instead of chasing a life balance, why we should just identify what matters most, assess and prioritize and put these in our daily schedules.
- Common flaws in today’s idea of masculinity.
What I love most about today’s episode is that Eric takes his job as a parent as seriously as he took his job as a Navy SEAL. It’s something we should all do – be more conscious in our decisions and actions as men and as dads.
