So if you're able to deepen your space of breathing, not only will you expand your inner bliss, but you'll expand the awareness of the body and being able to manipulate the body in ways that are to your best interest.

Advice for Newbie

I would say mindfulness can only be experienced. It is not something that can be talked about as much as it can be experienced, it's not something that can be read about as much as it can be experienced, it's not something that can be watched as much as it can be experienced. Experience is over all things so podcasts of this nature open doorways, they are guides, books, videos, but you must take the opportunity for yourself to sink into the space of mindfulness. Give it time, it is something that takes time but ultimately when you taste just the slightest taste of the fruit to the nectar of mindfulness you will be hooked.
