Happy International Women’s Day!  To celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievement of women, we invited Roopa Mehta to join us on this special bonus episode of the Going Scared Podcast. Roopa is the CEO of Sasha, an organization that creates meaningful opportunities for artisan groups in rural areas throughout all of India. She and a group of activists came together because of a deep love for their craft and textile traditions. They understand how vulnerable their communities are and were, and that they required intervention.
