Former House Representative Patrick Kennedy sat down with us to discuss the state of addiction and mental health in America.  Rep. Kennedy was the author and chief House sponsor of the Wellstone-Domenici Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act of 2008, an act that expanded access to mental health services to over 100 million Americans.  We spoke with him about raising awareness for research and treatment, and about the brain as the ‘last medical frontier’.
