and I talked about the history of breastfeeding for black women in theU.S. from slavery through the 20th century, challenges specific toAfrican American women, and the role of health care providers andfathers in supporting breastfeeding.  I also asked Kathi if she thinksthat breastfeeding is perceived as a "white woman's issue" in the blackcommunity.
