- Personal story

- Let Go of the Victim Mentality. The longer time spent complaining, the longer the amount
of time required to formulate solutions and to get out of the issues
encountered/experienced.
“You don’t make progress by standing on the sidelines, whimpering and complaining. You make
progress by implementing ideas.” ~ Shirley Hufstedler
- Be grateful for what you have; and tell your closest loved relations how much they mean
to you, and how you love them. The experience of love is one of the best things in life.
- Practice kindness, because intentional kindness is life-giving. When you give and you
practise kindness, you actually exercise your own ability to let go and receive the kind
words of others.
- Follow your dream and don't waste time. But start with small practical steps. So often,
we are so busy trying to live up to the expectations of others that we do not allow
ourselves to follow our own dream.
“Take the first step in faith. You don’t have to see the whole staircase, just take the
first step.” ~ Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
- Start small and be consistent; but be bold and take risks. Staying within our comfort
zone may be safe, but it is impossible to achieve greatness by living cautiously.
- Talk about how podcast came to be, because didn't want to have any regrets.
- Earning a living is important and is a major part of life, but not to the exclusion of
other things. To fully participate in all aspects of life, such as spending time with loved
ones and enjoying meaningful activities, we should leave work time at work.
- Take Advantage – Each Day Offers a New Beginning and a clean slate.
- Be yourself. We have our own values, beliefs, personality traits, and desires. When we
deny any part of our authentic self, we deny our identity and self. Our uniqueness makes us
who we are.
- Don’t Give up on Yourself. Have faith in yourself and
know that, “Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who
have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all.” - Dale Carnegie
