What in your life is affecting your identity in christ? Has past experiences been holding you back from recognizing your royalty status? This past Sunday we had a special message focusing on royalty. As we go through life, we inevitably come across people and situations that seek to undermine our image of ourselves as God made us. At times we can become frustrated with how people treat us and what goes on in our daily lives. This makes it all the more important to remind ourselves of our royalty, and the special relationship each one of us has to God. The word tells us that Jesus was "despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering and familiar with pain." this lets us know that through our walk, we can be rest assured that he understands us as he's gone through the same struggles.The price Jesus paid for us on the cross, solidifies our royalty status in him.
