Dr. Jensen received his bachelor’s
degree from the University of Utah. He completed his DDS Degree atthe Northwestern University School of Dentistry, and hisAnesthesiology Residency at the Northwestern University School ofMedicine. He completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residencyat the University of Michigan.
Dr. Jensen is a Diplomate of the
American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow ofthe American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. He is interested inbone grafting, dental implants, and distractionosteogenesis.
He is currently Clinical Assistant
Professor at New York University, University of Michigan, andUniversity of Colorado at Denver. Dr. Jensen has held a variety ofteaching positions since the early 1980s, and has also served as aclinical instructor in the St. Joseph General Practice ResidencyProgram.
Dr. Jensen has been a guest lecturer
at scores of seminars and symposia, with a strong focus on implantdentistry, bone grafting, and maxillofacial surgery throughoutNorth America, as well as in Europe and Japan. Dr. Jensen holdshospital appointments at six major facilities in the Denver area.He has been involved in numerous independent research projects, isthe author of three textbooks on oral surgery, more than two dozenscientific papers and publications, and has been part ofimplant-related clinical research studies.
