This was the last opportunity to promote a winning narrative for the November elections, and Trump blew it. But a lot of this is the fault of the “conservative” movement, which is bankrupt and is incapable of keeping focused for any period of time to demand that the president take the right actions. 

We delve into the long history of the budget betrayal, beginning last year. We take apart the president’s talking points from his press conference and show how he is contradicting himself on the military and the opioid crisis. 

We need a new movement that is willing to think deeper and broader.
